  1. Just check who owns the railway line, it may still be owned by British Rail, network Rail or whatever rail they are this week.....
  2. https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/world/five-monks-assaulted-and-tied-up-at-vienna-church/ar-BBRvtD0?li=AAnZ9Ug Hmmm it is a right puzzle as to why isn't it?
  3. Not good is it? Seems more birds than ever have got that this year....
  4. https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/8059042/christmas-tesco-morrisons-sainsburys-rotten-turkeys-customer-complaints/ Rather you than me on the turkeys....
  5. Seasoned gratings and yuletide felicitations and all that sort of thing...
  6. You can make money if the price is right, these were very much the B2 of their day though, so quite a few still out there.
  7. Keep an eye out in the freeads and post office windows near you, a Remington Express or Pestcontroller, an SMK XS19, or something similar, ie cheap but actually useable, can sometimes be picked up cheaply! Hope it all gets right quickly.
  8. Christ what would they do with Big Daddy?
  9. What do you think freezers are for? The New Year goose just got deferred to Easter.... The cockerel is going to be our combined birthday dinner (born 362 days apart)...
  10. Got enough fat out of the geese to fill 5 large jars, so thats a £15 saving there! Rendered down and now solidifying, going in the freezer, should see us in roast spuds for a while...
  11. Been to the auction again. 1 x 11 lb goose £25 1 x 11 and 3/4 lb goose £20 1 x 8 and 3/4 lb cockerel £11 1 x 12 lb turkey £18 all long legged so those are rough plucked dead weights, and buyers fee was £1 on the first lot....
  12. Someone who replaces the screens on mobile phones should be able to help... Or anyone who makes nigh vision units close by you?
  13. Well they have mucked about with PCP rifles to get a conviction in the past...
  14. Also the recoil should not be too violent at those levels....
  15. Yes but the petrol required to negotiate the entire length of the A17, then the run up the A1 sort of knackers any saving made on the £3 fill... And that is before coming back.....
  16. To ensure that the cylinder does not heat up when being filled (so you get more air). The fill is a slow fill from the Coltri but things do still get warm to the top end at 300 bar.
  17. I am lucky, 40 years of insulin injections and still only background diabetic retinopathy...
  18. There is a new cylinder filler in the Terrington, King's Lynn, Long Sutton, Spalding, Wisbech area. Does 300 bar fills while you wait £6!! Uses a Coltri Sub MCH6 compressor and fills with the cylinder in a vat of cold water. Contact Mole for more details...

  20. At least you could find it, all mine have fallen into banks of brambles so thick you would get neutered retrieving them!
  21. Nice shooting, what ft lb is it making?
  22. 28ft lb is fecking magnificent, especially with Crosman Premier Ultra Magnums in a .22 Super10!
  23. There is no standard chrono, there is no standard test procedure.
  24. My one is the VT-2, it has a 3-12 magnification, etched half mil dot reticle, red and green illuminated reticle, side focus, it comes with mounts (not bad ones either), side wheel, sun shade (screw in type) as well as the flip up end caps. It costs the same as the RRP on the cheapest Hawk Airmax and it is so much more scope for the money. Also has a 10 year warranty too.
