  1. They are retailing at £590, which is not a lot of money for the gun.
  2. 11.33ft lb with 10.5 grain Premiers, so power is good, it is regulated, tried 2 magazines through and it had a 6ft per second variation. I am not a fan of the black stock finish, however at the price I got it for I am not complaining. Plenty of other guns have tacky parts, the Hatsan gold trigger for instance. It has a 2 year manufacturer warranty, so a few thousand should not worry it.
  3. I am serious, people buy Edguns and they are Russian, this is a quality gun.
  4. OK, a quick quetion, how many air rifles do you know that are 1 ) A pcp 2 ) Regulated 3 ) Come with 2 filling probes (BSP and quick change) 4 ) 2 magazines 5 ) Anti double load mechanism 6 ) 300 bar fill 7) Walnut stock 8 ) 2 stage trigger adjustable for weight and travel 9 ) Shrouded barrel as standard 10) 2 year warranty 11) Hard case 12) Barrel with 12 grooves and lands. Well you can have a rifle or a carbine and for a little bit more there is a bullpup available! In fact £610 gets you a regulated bullpup, cheaper tha
  5. Today for lunch it is herb ciabatta with pancetta (Italian streaky bacon), lettuce and tomato. The pancetta is from Perfick Pork.....
  6. No brand will touch the bacon I get from Perfick Pork, simply superb and excellent value. A dry sweetcure that has a superb taste!
  7. Got an SR6 today, that has gone on the Super10, the SR12 IR that was on the Super10 is now on the Zbroia, the scope that was on the Zbroia is now on reserve duty..... Fitted QD studs to it as well....
  8. I did not have much of a choice in colour at the vendor I brought it from. The price was way too attractive to say no too....
  9. Well initial chono tests are very promising, 697 ft per second, using 10.5 grain pellets, deviation across the 24 shots fired, 6 ft per second.....
  10. Not easy I will admit. I am going to scan and post their instructions and what they really meant.....
  11. The .22 is 10 shots, I have read (or at least attempted to read) the (google) translated manual. Good grief!
  12. That is good Matt, it is in .177! Free floating barrel with 12 grooves, the blank is grooved by Zbrowski....
  13. Not one on the endcap on the shroud, it is not that loud when dry fired, be even less loud with a pellet in front of the air!
  14. To quote number 2, Now that would be telling! Let's just say that the acquisition involved a round trip of over 320 miles, so use your own judgement. The bloke selling it won it in an archery competition.
  15. Hopefully this week Matt, might do it as part of me part time job!
  16. Made in the Ukraine from parts sourced in Austria, retailing at £589, though mine was bought secondhand from someone who won it in an archery competition. Wholesaler is Sureshot at Bury St Edmunds, ie pretty close to us! The gun is nicely weighted, well balanced, has some beautiful touches, like you unscrew the airtube cover near the gauge to reveal the filling hole, nice positive click in, then open the valve and let it flow, tp on cylinder is 495 bar, wp is 300 bar, about 200 shots per fill on the rifle.
  17. Walnut stock, weaver scope rail, 300 bar fill, anti double load, 2 stage trigger, 2 magazines, 2 fill probes (one 1/8 bsp and one foster), hard case, shrouded barrel...
  18. Yes but now there is a herd of Red Polls that Howards have sole rights to sell that graze at Sandringham, so that is what they eat there! I prefer the taste of grass fed Aberdeen Angus myself, so we have that, we used to buy from a farmer over Dereham way, but he scalped us one Christmas, pretended he got the order wrong and presented us with a Baron of Beef that was over 3 times the weight we asked for, he then refused to sell us the Christmas meat we had ordered unless we paid for the Baron. We paid, but made our minds up never to go back. Found Russells and Perfick Pork instead.
  19. They now have their own butcher at Sandringham, Howards. Sargents is at Stow Bridge. Never tried their produce.
