  1. Buy some new batteries for the Combro then or one of these!! New Chrono
  2. When a 17 year old white girl is knifed in a park by a black male for no reason?
  3. I like the Discovery scopes so much I have two, one is the simply superb VT-2 side focus, IR, half mil dot reticle, supplied with mounts, sidewheel, sun shade and flip up lens caps in the most vivid shade of blue plastic you can get.... As can be seen from the picture, it works in low light levels (44mm objective - front - lens), holds zero superbly and is loads cheaper than a sidewinder. The other one was a clearance (discontinued line). The Hi series, 5-20x44, IR, SF, basically the same scope but with Chairman pleasing single red stars on the turrets. Half mild
  4. If you are prepared to go down the A1, turn left at Huntingdon, traverse the A14 until you reach Bury St Edmunds, I know of a Zbroia Hortitsia that is brand new, 2 years warranty, yours for £400! Comes with 2 fill probes and 2 magazines, so pretty well specced, regulated action, 2 stage trigger, accurate, silenced shroud..... £400 gun The seller also does a nice scope with mounts for £80, if you put the two together I am sure he would do you a deal so at least some of your petrol is covered, then just use Redbeck for fills (300 bar fills too, this gun has a WP of 300 bar and l
  5. Milek on the AGF posted this, thought I would spread the word for those who are either tighter than a fish's asshole or in the unfortunate position of not being able to afford an arm and a leg. £18.50 chrono Now it has an unusual clamp system, you don't have to use it, but my suggestion would be foam on the inside of the clamp. Handles a 40 shot string, reads in metric units, will handle speeds up to 500 metres a second, so can be used on FAC. Less than a pub dinner! Before all the skan snobs start sneering, check where your phone, tablet, tv, gaming con
  6. Combros are brilliant, but this is unbelievably cheap, cheaper than my old Xcortech which I sold at a profit (???), Ebay listing for new £18.50 inc p+p Chrono OK so it only works in metric, just keep it under 16 joules if no FAC, will read up to 500 metres a second, so plenty of scope for FAC work.
  7. Actually I think AirForce now do.... https://www.airgunnation.com/topic/raw-airforce-join-forces-press-release/ https://www.tuugo.co.uk/Companies/theoben-engineering/0300004013384#! Edited to add, just searched BT phone book, no listing for Theoben in Somersham.
  8. Those sausages kosher? Just it looks like they have been circumcised....
  9. That second pic looks like a heavy night of advocaat and a kebab....
  10. Ah that is why I love over here, despite the lack of abundant gold deposits, rivers full of salmon, forests full of deer, unspoiled seas in which to fish.... That and the fact a £35 jacket is more than good enough to go hunting in...
  11. Got a nice Portmann wax jacket from Paramount Clothing for Christmas, came with a tin of wax for one reseal too, storm cuffs, hood, nice weight and damned warm £35!
  12. Once came across a deer in the woods on my permission, small Roe doe, was not overly scared, but there again a .177 SuperTen is not going to drop that one unless I knacker the stock clubbing it over the head. Used to be a porpoise in the Wash who would chase fishing dinghys and bump the keels until he got a few mackerel. Seen a stoat kit take on a rabbit that was about 4 times it's size, was like WWE! Also a demented woodpecker trying to hammer through the metal sides on a barn....
  13. C130, standing by the back door, 20,000 ft, no chutes, door open, steep climb..... Edited to add, the entire bloody job lot of that family too, his wife(wives), sons, daughters, whoever else is related to him....
  14. You do have to think "they got all the way here and are still virgins? wtf is wrong with em?"
  15. In laymans terms the UK was balloted on joining a Common Market not a Common Government. The Lisbon treaty (where article 50 was put in by Labour so they could bullshit the legislation through Parliament) was voted on and rejected by countries like Ireland, France and the Netherlands, before they were strong armed into voting yes. https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2008/dec/13/eu-ireland-lisbon-treaty A market does not tell you how to spend any money you make at it, else the stall holders would unilaterally piss off and organise another somewhere else. We voted
  16. So do vegetables! As soon as something growing is stopped from sourcing the nutrients it needs to sustain itself and is harvested, it started to decompose. Why do you think the vegetables that are nutritionally best for you are frozen? I have seen plenty of rotten produce in the supermarket aisles...
  17. Well living next door to Mr Vortek you would say that, mind you having had a couple of Vortek guns, so would I!
  18. It would not be my first Matt, I have owned a 77 mk 1 and we (Mary and I) have owned three 95s.
  19. So now you can relax and enjoy a fine spring powered rifle...
  20. Further to someone else's thread about buying a new rifle, I decided to internet shop the prices of two guns, the veritable 60 S and the 99. Back when I started the Hatsan 60 was over £100 cheaper than the 99. Both had iron sights and 2 stage triggers, both were in the starter gun line up. Nothing much has changed. Only the prices have. Shopping aritarily at Redbeck, as they stock both rifles... Hatsan 60 HW99 Who in hell's name is going to pay that much for the Turkish brute when for a few quid more you can have the svelte Brunhilda? Fair enough, when they were a
