My advice is only plant stuff you like to eat and don't plant stuff all at ones I stager my beetroot seeds etc a week apart then not all ready at the same time
My late grandad ones told me he had just weeded and raked his veg plot in his back garden when a fox run across it and out the frount garden tho the snicket and in to the feild then 2 minutes later the pack of hounds , then the horses he told them to go bloody round ha ! Iv got a hob thats a creamy colour but has a black tail his grandma was a silver with a black leg she was best ratting ferret iv had small but fearless, give her to a mate to breed off n he lost her ,

I got told re bar don't stop concrete from cracking just holds it together if it dose crack ? I did a big pad about 18ft x 7ft 3 inch on good hard core that was wacked down and its not moved yet or cracked only has ferret hutchs on etc and a trailer occasionally, I did the edges slightly deeper
