so when your struggling to get a slip and coaxing and using skill how is that testing for the dog you just said it the hardest part is getting the slip and the dog has no control over that You sound like a bellend that has killed most of his foxes on the phone or on tinternet. FTB all am saying is the hardest part is getting the actual slip after that any dog with half decent speed will catch them ive seen some good fox dogs bull x deer hound x pure greys seen dogs that can end it quick some on impact ive seen some draw it out can someone one tell me which was the better fox do

A canny fox was a test for any dog agility and speed wise. They could make the fastest dog look stupid. I do agree it should be no contest weight wise but a lot of dog didn't like the sharp end.... Yes there's plenty of ways to test a dog but don't underestimate what a test a fox was back in the day. well said mate seen many a foxmake a dog look stupid and pre ban i worked a hell of a lot of fox

well done mate cant beat a collie greyhound on charlie once they have had a couple they make it look quite easy

just lost my cocker bitch mate and i would offer you this advice get her spayed or as previous lad said ship her to a mates while in season.i mated my bitch and had one disaster after another £2000 out of pocket and no dog to show for it. if i could turn the clock back 6 months it would be done in a flash .good luck with whatever decision you make tho-billy

lost the two remaining pups this morning after all the hard work put in they reached 17 days and we thought they were going to make it but both developed breathing problems and it was kinder to have them put to s.leep we are all gutted but we determined to put it behind and move forward .thanks for all your previous replies -billy

both little boys are doing fine and gaining weight both got heat on them ,they got me knackered already tho lol

my little dog who only had her pups 5 days ago sadly passed away tonight, she didnt have a good pregnancy but perked up a bit when pups where born i went out this morning and i just knew something wasnt right,i checked her gums and they were yellow as where her eyes ,straight to vets and after loads of tests ultra sounds etc they told me her spleen had ruptured and she was bleeding internally a large growth was also present after a long discussion with the .vet it was adviced to put her to sleep. im absolutley gutted but i have to bite my lip and get on with trying to rear her 2 remaining pu

this has been a canny post lads im in no position to critisise the bull crosses but the bull lads need to accept that there are crosses out there ie collie x and deerhound x and bedlington x and even lurcher to lurcher x that can do the same job as the bull x .and like has been said by the sensible lads we all have our favourites but i think one lad said the right thing - as long as it does the buissiness for its owner then it dont matter what the cross is-atb bily

im from north east england lads and owned a 1st cross colie greyhound that took 5 fully grown foxes single handed in one night this dog was a total demon on fox and to say they bark when bitten is utter garbage this dog never made a sound even when being punished this dog killed hundreds of foxes in his time[pre ban] and was built like a brick shit house his name was glen and any one who knew him would verify what i just wrote but times move on and its a fashion now for some lads to own bull crosses that probably dont get to see what my dog saw

used to ge into bother when i was a lad gang fights with other estates etc scrapping in town centre when full of drink fighting at matches etc but i was never a burglar or thief once i was introduced to the lurcher scene it all changed over night ,only bother i got into after that was poaching which was nowt compared to before ! -

had some canny cuts on my dogs pads in the past never had them stapled tho ,but hey mate if it heals quicker whats the problem just rest your dog and it will be fine .small cuts can be super glued by your self tho -
