well mate here goes! just kidding though as im old school and wont shoot a rabbit this season or maybe not this year! their numbers are at a shocking low around here and i for one wont shoot any until i think theres enough to pick a couple off

hi lads im sure we,ve all tried them "impossible shots" and pulled one or two off and the feeling is of great satisfaction ,well bear with me a little longer and i will tell you about a "perfect" shot i pulled off last night .Went for a mooch about on my ratting spot again last night,and very few rats about 1st one was nothing special 20 yds out on the muck pile and down it rolled with an accupel lodged in its head ,i saw nothing for ages and went for a wander down to the duck pond and just stood there watching the world go by [relaxing] any way walked back up to my 1st rat location and spotte

well done pal ive found a few nests this year [longtailed tit &gold finch &chaffinch] dont know if they will make it though as bloody magpies are prowling about hedge hunting already ive lived in this house 20 years and had a sparrow in the box every year not this year though as a bloody sparrow hawk is hunting this area with a deadly mission -ive gone off sparrow hawks now!

dont worry mate nowt will come of it had a dog that literally cleaned the street up the neighbours loved him! bird life returned thats good enough for me -i never ever set him on any he just hated them mind you he was a prolific fox dog so cats were a change for him had police round loads of times but neighbours would come out and praise the dog up saying he was a lovely dog etc lol

hi lads i cant seem to be able to keep away from my little ratting spot so off i went again last night and as it was lashing down most of the day i think thats the reason there wasnt much about i must be getting on top of the ones feeding at the pheasant feeder as i didnt even see one ,i walked the perimiter of the pen and spotted one that stopped in its tracks as though it knew i was there so not wasting a second i put the cross hairs on its head and squeezed the trigger and it just slumped in its run ,i moved it away in the hope i might see more as the night went on but i didnt see anyt

some decent size rats amongst these

went back to do a bit more rat shooting the other night and enjoyed a few hours taking some canny shots [35yds] head shot standing position whilst standing on a slope! these rats were all clean kills and none suffered some big "uns" were shot
