went for a bit of a drive today [northumberland] with the purpose of smoking a few rats out for a keeper but it didnt work out as planned so tactics were changed and i went on the ferals in a big covered grain store with 3 silos and my mate went off doing his bit i managed a good few ferals but some i couldnt get to but a happy farmer thanked me for the small pile i had laid out my mate had killed a few corvids but never picks owt up so couldnt add to pic -billy

very few around here me and a mate went ferreting years back and brought26 healthy bunnies home [live] and released them along a railway embankment it wasnt until about 2 years later that they were in large numbers but mixy has hit it again and again so numbers are down .i dont have any qualms about releasing live bunnies if there thin on the ground just DONT get caught -billy

dont know the answer mate but if you can get the "other "people to ignore the pups over excitedness then it might calm down enough to listen to its owner if its very young i wouldnt worry too much tho as it will grow out of it

nice write up pal ive just got in from a similar morning out but took rifle [rapid 7] along and koda only saw one squirrel never got a shot off but the dog worked his socks off bushing etc and i get great satisfaction fromjust watching himand all the wild life around me- billy

pcp all day for me owned a german "origional" when i was young lad and i loved it but im lazy now pcp is lazy mans rifle but my choice lads [rapid 7]

the 3rd rabbit looked like a milky doe or a doe with young as her fur was patchy[normally pulled out to make nest] good shooting

better off without them they chase every bird away there was 2 on our shoot and they were more of a nuisance than owt else mind you one did fly well and landed with a right heafty "thump" a couple of feet from me
