i went feretting a few years back in northumberland and we caught a rabbit the very same colour as that blue one and it had a lovely thick coat on it but the fur was noticeably softer .it was too nice to kill so we let it go -billy

those were deer prints mate [yummy] well done stealthy on a good read and nice pics glad the black birds flew ,a long tailed tits nest i found earlier has just been vacated by 7 young uns ,hope the magpies dont get them but i will try and help ! lol -billy

went for a wander friday tea time and managed a few rats that were chasing each other around on the manure heap ,both were nice clean head shots from about 25 yds in the standing position ,i saw several baby rabbits at different sizes but left them be as there thin on the ground on this bit of land-billy

never owned a hw 100 but borrowed a mates one day and it was the bogs bxllxcks so quiet and accurate but a heavy lump of a weapon ,i for one would own one after my beloved rapid that is ! lol-billy

was out tonight shot a few long tails could have dropped a few rabbits but left them alone[hope the keeper doesnt read this! lol] and watched a few black caps flitting around inches away from me thats me in heaven lads lol

well my view is kill every magpie or nest robbing spieces as i want my grand kids to see and hear song birds -woodies seem to be doing fine so i will take a few of them[no great numbers tho] rats i will shoot on site as i do with squizzers -rabbits are left alone till winter -foxes are not my thing -wont shoot hares i like to see a good dog behind one-these are only my views lads and each to their own -billy
