we call them cinnamons over here and were no fluffy brigade you f*****g no it all dickhead. Your missus no giving out is she? Thats a bit of an over reaction is it not c**t face??? She doesn't live in ireland and the ferret wasn't bred or bought in ireland, but who really cares, you keep calling your wee ferrety werrety a cinnamon . . . . . . .sounds like a f*****g bagel you twat. (SEE ITS NOT NICE WHEN FOLK ARE RUDE IS IT?) Feck sake mate, if you were a fish you'd be the first caught everytime. If Carlseberg did "easiest to get a reaction from" it would be you.

yes it will and i suggest you get a good ferret breeding/ rearing book to read up fast on what else you need to know.. they will be born approx 42 days after mating. http://www.amazon.co...y/dp/190405756X If the jill has been mated the swelling will go down but as Leeview has said it doesn't mean she will be pregnant, after all if she was mated by a vasectomised hob the swelling would go down but you'd be a bit p!ssed if she was pregnant. That said there'll be a good chance that she will be pregnant.

Well done longdog, the wee fella looks chuffed. It's a good idea to keep the trips short and sweet when they're young, less risk of them getting scunnered.

Double post.

Sambo quoted 3turns first post so I'd guess he's trying to say it reads like a mix of Billy Connolly and Ali G, can you see a resemblence? He certainly wasn't refering to your dog mate.
-
Like a mixture of Billy connolly and Ali G You taking the piss? You aint even seen my dog. Just like the rest, concentrate on ya own dog rather than slate other peoples. You are seriously paranoid Hammerdan. How can you link sambo's post to your dog.
-
3 turns, are you related to whin ? Must be from the same school.

That pics lovely .. I love his little coat & wellies Thanks Kay, when I look at that pic and the one below which was taken the other week and both have the same spade it makes me realise how much he's grown in 3 years.

My youngest started at 18 months and his oldest brother was even younger. Think it's time to have a word in yer wifes ear mate. Brodie at 18 months.

Who decides who the "select few" are. Just recently we have had varying answers on the same subjects, for example a jill being in season. You've got to take her out of season or she will die. You've got to take her out of season or she will lose condition and become lethargic. She can remain in season with no ill effects just make sure you keep her hutch clean. Take her out of season with a vac hob or implant or jill jab. The jill jab has side effects and shouldn't be used. Maybe after reading the above a pinned section might not be as straight forward as people think. I th

So if you see what you judge to be a stupid question you feel obliged to post a stupid answer. The thing is it might look like a stupid question to some but the poster obviously doesn't know the answer hence the reason they ask. If it annoys some folk that much why don't they ignore the thread and move onto the next one instead of posting a negative comment. Your idea of having a sticky explaining the search function would be worth a try.

Over the last year or so the ferret section has been going the same way as the lurcher section and it's not for the better.
-
Well said DogMagic, it does sometimes look like some are quick to criticize. At least the lad is wanting to learn.
-
Do you take two litters off her every year?

Thanks for the reply Rake aboot, it's an interesting post. I agree that colour means nothing as far as working ability goes but you know what it's like, some prefer this colour and others prefer that. What's really interesting is what you say about breeding silvers together, you say it can be done but also say some would disagree. As you say you've done it without any complications but say that others will not do it because of supposed genetic issues. Could it be similair to breeding merle to merle in dogs, that can be done and has been on many occasions yet there is always a risk of

The standard of reffing was no better today. A dubious sin binning [must've been if Brian Moore didn't think it was one], a forward pass for the try and as for the decisions at the scrums. now then ,,, dont diss brian moore,,, hes always fair. that was a bad decision though. england played very poorly,,, but still wone the game. i know the pundits said scotland did well , but they still lost to a bad england,,,, it dont say alot for scotland Brian Moore and fair in the same sentence, that's the first time I've read that Tomo.

This could have been an interesting thread but what have we got? The usuall suspects having digs. The lad asked an interesting question about silver ferrets, can you breed them together? I've never seen a silver never mind had one so I don't know the answer and can only guess that those that have bothered to post haven't answered the question maybe they don't know. It could've been an educational thread, but.

how do they expect me to know, you have to start somewhere, i thought i would post her becoz it full of experienced people. but i see it has it part of snobs, which think they are superior Its not a case of people being snobby or a case of people being superior..... If you are a responsible person (and i am not passing judgement) then you would learn about these things first. You would not drive a car without first learning to drive..... The best book i can recommend is James Mckay. This is full of information from housing to illnesses and everything in between. One other thing.....

you could be right, your talking from experience am going on only what ive read.how is your jill when shes inbeside the other hobs? before i put mine into another hutch a chunk of hair was missing behind her left ear and her ear didnt sit like the other(seems better now) this was probaly down to the 2 hobs wanting some action,if it is then its probaly best to try avoid? Are you saying you put your jill into a hutch with two hobs?
-
Your first question has already been answered, as for the second question about "when do I feed the kits on slops, my answer would be never, where would they get slops in the wild?

He's not breeding rabbits, he's stopped because the rabbits are breeding.
