What language is that you're writing in mate? Did you go to the same school as whin. The person that told you that you could breed with her now was right, well you will be able to breed her when she comes in season, it wouldn't be the right thing to do but it would be possible. The better option would be to give her a few years graft and see how she turns out, if you're happy with her take it from there.

Well done for sticking with him Borderscot, not sure if I could have. I noticed you say he's a 3/4 bred collie greyhound so is he a reverse 3/4 ? as he looks more like a 3/4 grey/collie. All the best wi' him.

I suppose it's the time of year to jump on the bandwagon, "if a jill is poorly it's because she's been left in season". Ferrets can turn poorly for a number of different reasons, this time it sounds like the jill has been exposed to too much heat thankfully she's made a full recovery so hopefully a lesson learned.

I have already said that I believe they work silkey, they certainly speed up the healing process. As for using them to stop [slow down] a greyhound, I wouldn't rely on them to do that.

I wouldn't try to stop a greyhound by using a mag box. I have heard it said that it stops dogs but every dog is different, a mate of mine had a bitch that was only middle grade and if he left her in the box before a race as you would to try and stop one she found lengths.There are more surer ways of stopping greyhounds.

Hi Rake Aboot, hope you don't mind me asking but when you say you tried the jill jab "and lost the wee ferret" what went wrong? Did the vet have any explanation of why the jill died? Bump.

Is it too late to take your pup back and change it for a dark coloured one? Only joking Grubsy, this topic comes up at regular intervals and I think you know the answer to your questions. After all if you thought that a white dog was going to be handicapped because of it's colour you wouldn't have bought it. My answers would be,- no, no and yes.

You can do as many searches on the net as you want fieldsman and read whatever you want to help you come to your conclusions which seems to be that mag boxes do not work. I on the other hand have gained my findings from the actuall experience of using a portamag.Can I ask you how long you you've been using a portamag? In your first post you said "I look forward to hearing your opinions", seems to me that it doesn't matter what anyone says, "they don't work" end of.

As I said it was a study .It was conducted by a professor of medicine on behalf of the government to see if people were being ripped off not his exact words but you get the jist.Not just someone spouting on the web the results were conclusive it made no difference hence the ban on advertising in America this is FACT .I read the case study I,m sure if you look hard enough you will find it also .I presume you bought one.The only facts that came from the study were if at the same time as being in one of the boxes and given calcium supplements it appeared that breaks mended marginally quicker but

the boxing was in 1996 so when was the coursing filmed its old footage i think The boxing was for the 1996 Scottish schoolboys championship, 1996 being the year the boys were born. So no not old footage.
