  1. I'd say she'll be in near the end of March at the earliest.
  2. I've had a few Okumas but never had one that's lasted more than 2 seasons, the quality just isn't there. Same with Shakespear spinning reels, they just don't last. Plenty of different sized Shimano reels out there, find one that suits you and you should get years of use out of it, my present one is more than ten years old and still going strong.
  3. Tried to PM you Tried to PM you but your inbox must be full, send me a pm and I'll reply.

  5. That's what it's all about mate, I know if I didn't enjoy it it would be time to pack it in, somehow I doubt that day will come.
  6. Ah well I must be different then, because I can assure you my three sons are far more important to me than any ferret/dog etc will ever be. If or when you watch your child enter into this world it you might change your mind but maybe not.
  7. Mostly rabbits but also crows, rooks, woodpigeons when I get them and the left overs of salmon after I've cut them up.
  8. No doubt about it he's a cracking dog but I can't work out how you think he had an unlucky race. He didn't trap as well as what he is capable of and got slightly sandwiched at the start, i wouldn't call that very lucky. Trapping is part of the race, he didn't trap like he can but that was down to him not because of anything else so can't be classed as being unlucky, remember he trapped aswell as 4 other runners. Sure there was a slight coming together on the run up which was caused by him not trapping aswell as he could but he wasn't baulked, checked etc. If you watch the video

  10. After reading the above I thought it must've been some performance so I watched the video on the IGB site. At trap rise the one dog came out infront and the rest broke even, there was a slight coming together between 2,3 and 4 on the run up but 4 came off the worst. At the first bend there was slight bumping between 1 and 3 [Panther] but in behind the 4 dog got checked between the bends. After the second bend it was just a matter of time before Panther went past the leader. I thought both the first and second ran well. Talking about performances, have a look at Razldazl billy in the 20
  11. Thats Luna she's 22.5 tts and she's bull/whip/grey x beddy grey. Whate age is she Johnny and how do you rate her? Only a young bitch 16 months, she's showed some good signs, she's a decent lamping bitch, she's done well all round on the bunnies to be fair. I think she'll make a good un. She certainly looks the part, all the best with her.

  14. Goog write up and pics Jai, you must have some patience to sit and write it all out. The second set of pics, the dog/bitch? in pics 5 and 8 I like the look of, how is she/he bred and what height is it?
  15. Haven't got a clue mate as I don't know what you want and I don't know what you need. You'll know your bitch's strong points and you'll know what she lacks so you'll be the best person to decide what to use.
  16. Taz,- dam 3/4 grey collie, sire 1/2 grey collie. 25" and just over 60lb.
  17. I would agree the best option would be to get kits but to say if they don't work out it will be the handlers fault. It's a fact that not all ferrets make the grade so sometimes all the handling/training in the world won't make any difference. I bought a couple of polecat coloured jills at Lanark market years ago and by feck they could work, the old boy that had them was going blind and was giving up. Just last summer I got given the mother of my jill as the lad that had her was too busy at work and like the above she can do the damage. Saying that there will be a lot passe
  18. Not saying it isn't, I'm only making an offer.
  19. Would you take £16? Paypal?
  20. Thanks for the replies folks.
  21. The way Molly runs doesn't help Moll. It's all blood and thunder with her, no chance of her pulling up at a hedge, I've seen her bouncing off hedges and fences and she seems to take it personal if a rabbit gets away.
  22. Cheers loner, just as well he's away to college today so he doesn't have to skin them.
