    Errrm im pretty sure polecats are bigger than ferrets.....European polecats are anyway and generaly have more powerful jaws and heavier bone structure...i could be wrong on this but i have a mate who has both and polecats are a fair bit bigger....im sure other with more experiance will tell you more I will add also that polecats are wild and ones who are in captivity are more nervy and dont like being handled as much as ferrets do....my mates is on its own as it does not like the company of his ferrets and try to attack them but likes to work the bunnies as much as his ferrets...it does

    I clear a few caravan parks of the bunnies but the owner only lets us do it during the off season ie december to start of march when there is no-one on site.....If the owner of your permission has let you work your ferrets there whilst there are folk on the site i would sugguest you direct joe public to the land owner if they feel your pressence is unwanted...you could however explain about the mess the rabbits are making of owners land and your just doing a bit of pest reduction..all the best with this mate ATB Stevo

    If trained right mate i dont see any prob with having pure whipp for the rabbits...few lads on here use straight whipps and get good bags....i would reakon you would pay about £250-£400 for a blue whippet from working lines ATB Stevo

    What type of air rifle do you want mate?,,,PCP....CO2...GasRam...Springer?......all have pros and cons buddy this will also depend on your budget mate...if buying new then i would rule out PCP'c as they expensive to set up.....Co2 rifles in my eye's just dont cut it and there are to many variables in certain weather conditions..springers and gasrams are prob your best best..As HUNTER BOY said head over to your local Feildsports shop and see what they have to offer..also giving us an idea of your budget would be helpful....also be aware of the laws reguarding Air Rifles mate as you dont want to

    As above its a predator caller and will clear bugs and co within 200 yrds of use lol....will bring in the foxes though..so if you have FAC or SGC and use on one of your perms that could make one happy farmer for removing his fox issues(if he has any)

    I do it on one of my caravan park permissions as its just to big to walk around.....harder with springer but with pcp its easy...i will say however that ive nearly took out the windscreen with the barrel whilst cocking the TX lol but good fun though and toasty lol

    Got same on one of farms i do clearing for....vixen holed up under big bails but farmer wants them all gone as to be expected....in this case i will have to kill them all if i ever get to them....i know some dont but thats just way it is

    The only thing i can think of is the pellets themselves as air is more dence during cold conditions than warm conditions......I know that this does not effect springers like it does with CO2 or PCP rifles....with the air being more dence i would expect a drop off in pellet velocity not an increase. Gunna have a scout about on velocity in cold and warm conditions now lol

    I had an AATX200 mk2 mate and have shot the mk1 and i have to say it's a cracking rifle...not many rifles better on the market if you ask me buddy
