  4. Nice paddock there and plenty of young un's around(always nice to see)..Due to lack of adult rabbits above ground they prob down below pumping out next gen who will prob show there faces above ground in next few weeks......your gunna have plenty of sport there mate thats for sure. Nice clean humane kills
  5. Heya mate this is also a nice rifle and quite cheap http://airgunbuyer.com/details.asp?cat=Secondhand&SubCat=Secondhand%20Rifles&Product=3302 its a Weihrauch HW57 This is also a great rifle http://www.valleyarms.co.uk/guns/Airguns/Air-Rifle-Second-Hand/Weihrauch-HW77K-Venom-.22-Second-Hand Weihrauch HW77K
  6. On a serious note though foxes do take young/sick lambs farmer who's land i shoot on has lost a few so far this year and tell me he knows its foxes as if the lamb was already dead it would not bleed and one or two he has found were bloodied around neck few more images from net
  7. This is why foxes need shooting....there deadly
  8. Do you clean with a rod, or those cleaning pellets? Cleaning rod mate...those cleaning pellets are fkin cr@p lol this same as mine ok not the best but does the job perfect http://www.ebay.co.u...=item41643993a1

  10. Not yet mate but i would expect it to be around 3.5flbs and piston stroke is only short compared to other pistols....still a loverly pistol though
  11. She is a beauty mate.....only put few pellets through her though and was quite supprised on how good it felt
  12. Your best bet would prob be your local fieldsports shop/gunsmiths.......have a look about...also guys on here sell them from time to time but best only deal with people who can be vouched for i will have a scout about for ya and let ya know
  13. TX200 everytime mate....its far superior to the BSA but with your budget you would have to buy secondhand....i got mine second hand and she is fekin awsome and still puts out over 11.3ftlbs...the BSA is ok for a beginner and ok for hunting as i do with mine but the TX is second to none in my eyes....possibly the best spring rifle in the world
  14. Cr@p only pellets i can find with 5.6mm are wasp's Blah!
  15. No matter mate whenever you change from one pellet type to another you should clean out your barrel that is a must......i think paulus has shown what i was thinking of...also as these pellets plastic skirts are quite hard i doubt much would be left in the rifling but always clean anyway
  16. The BSA Lightning is a springer mate and so is the TX200.....i dont do pcp's or co2 i prefer the feel of a springer......You can buy a Lightning for £230 new from blackpool air rifles and you could prob get it cheaper if you shopped round...they make ideal starter rifles alot better than smk range in my opinion
  17. Shame that mate as you could get a second hand AirArms TX200 with scope and slip for about £250 and i will say that is an amazing rifle as i have one.......if you shop around though you could prob pick up an bsa lightning new for that price...also a great hunting rifle
  18. The SMK XS20 is an ok starting rifle mate.....i think power is about 11flbs as standard so ok for hunting with....however as its a breakbarrel i would think it would be slightly inaccurate(my opinion).....i dont like slagging off other peoples rifles and im no expert with the chinese SMK range.....but as a starter it is fine mate......i would say though get an Air Arms or Weihrauch when funds permit as this will save you money in the long run
  19. Nout wrong with introducing him to live mice/rats thats just out of his reach...ie=in a live trap just to stimulate him...once intrest is in him then move on to next stage when he wants to do more than sniff(dont wanna say to much antis and all that)....this is how my mate started his ratter off and the dog is a monster on em now...i will say though on second stage he used mice as rat bite at a young age can put fear into dog and he will not work then but some will...other guys with more experiance will be able to aid you more though buddy....good luck with it and let us know how you get on
  20. Cal is 5.56mm mate....anything less than that makes me lose velocity
  21. I normally go BASC but as i was layed off and a little short of cash i went for Sporting Shooter insurance.....the liability is only 2mill but like one farmer on my perm said....'atleast you have insurance our kid and thats good enough for me'....It only cost's me £18 a year direct debit and i get magazines also available for download......they not as well known as BASC but atleast my ass is covered
  22. Ok i have just re read the post pe i think mean Polyethylene which is the rating of the hose used for filling items such as pcp's the bar limit of the tank is 395...someone who know more can tell you
