  1. Nope can't my head around this question. Its stressing my little brain out trying to put logic to it. I need to lie down now, its illogical captain, i'm setting my phaser to stun and then i'm pointing it at mi heed and going for a nap. ZAP hjgjfgjdk....................
  2. Rob, its a well known fact once a firearm always a firearm. If it was sold as a sub 12 due to it never being registered a firearm then if it was hitting over then yes it should be turned down to stay on the right side of the law. CW.
  3. Well i take my hat off to you Si, Went out with my HW80s to see what kind of groups i could achieve at the ranges in your vid. Just home 10 mins ago after shooting at paper since about 8am. Tried the fac rifle first then after getting average results i took out the sub 12 and managed about the same. Managed half inch groups out to about 40 yards at best spreading out to about an inch when i wasn't concentrating hard enough. 1 or 2 pellet on pellet (more luck than anything else i reckon) Just as well am not a soldier we'd have been invaded years ago. Thanks for the vid, i need more prac
  4. I know a wee guy in a keepers cottage away up in thurso who would put him straight in about half a sentence. He he, i have him sent up to the guy for a reality check
  5. I read once this is the factory rating for the guns in countries with no power limits. This is not the case here in the uk where Weihrauch cut the springs down before exporting them here. I bought a new 97k 2 years ago and was a bit dismayed to find one end of the spring cut off and not finished off in a proffessional way. It looked like someone had snipped it down in length with a set of bolt cutters and had left the ragged sharp end of the spring unfinished. When i cocked the rifle i could hear the end of the spring grind against the inner face of the piston. A quick heat with a blow to
  6. Some idiots up in my neck of the woods too. Met a guy on a job a few weeks ago who (incidently he has no idea i shoot or fish) blethered for an hour about his hunting antics which entailed shooting deer with a crossbow along with hairs and rabbits. He kept going on about having top of the range stuff like AGS and the fact that the roe deer he stalked never knew he was within 10 ft of them. His bullshit made for a very entertaining morning and i doubt he's even seen a roe deer let alone rambo up to them and execute them with his perfect head shots he seemed to manage all the time. Oh yeah he
  7. I am thirty six and have held a fac for killing men for twenty yrs. Oh deary me! If he was suspended tomorrow we could have had some more fun with the plank! Has anyone tried zapping deer with one of these laser pointers and a magnifying glass yet????
  8. Leamo, Your an idiot. A chest shot is very humane. Doesn't go near the guts let alone rip them out. Only causes blood damage to the smaller muscle groups around the shoulders (great for burgers) I too make sure i keep within the law as i fancy doing this for the rest of my life (doesn't mean i agree with all of the laws in place) No need to thank me for this info, although i fully expect a reply calling me a c*nt. I'll have a laugh to myself when your overly agressive issues boil over at me. Night night Kiddo. P.S. Are you related to anyone with the surname Graham?
  9. Crikey Leamo, Chill out lad, i don't give a fu*k for the anti's and as The Duncan rightly tells us why the laws an ass. Enjoy yer hunting bud and be cool, take it all with a pinch of salt and laugh at those idiots who eat meat wear leather and call us cun*s for shooting poor little bamby's etc Too much garlic in the venison chilli tonight, keeps coming back on me, here's hoping my rabbit stew sorts it tommorrow. Right i'm off to try and pop a buck before dark then on to an old barn with my beloved hw80 and lamp for a pigeon or 2. Happy hunting dudes. CW.
  10. I'm a novice stalker who was put onto a .243. Being a bit anal at this as i am with my other shooting and fishing/fly tying i shot at paper for a month or 2 at various ranges to gain confidence, i've shot a good few roe over the last year dropping them out to 250 yards with 100 grain soft points to the brisket. Incidently my soft points cause max damage at about 180 to 200 yards, close range they whiz through the deer but drop them on the spot. A few of them have managed to bolt a short distance even though i've drilled them through their heart or/and lungs (hardy buggers), the rest have si
  11. Yep once a firearm always a firearm. Sh*t law i know.
  12. Me too, pulled it out and went ' Oh sh*t, ah wait a minute Chris ya nugget it not the liver!' Even better, i filled up with diesel the other day and sat back into the wrong motor. The old woman in the passenger seat looked scared sh*tless as i was covered in muddy camo gear. Said sorry and pointed out, thats my identical motor over there and got out of her car and the filling station asap. :icon_redface: :icon_redface:
  13. No idea about the grey liver. I keep the liver, we had liver last Tuesday from a couple of Bucks from the weekend. Left in a bowl of milk in the ridge for a few days then fried with onions, served with chips and veg. HEAVEN!!!!!!...........The bovine stuff is a poor sub in our opinion. CW.
  14. Hi guys. I got a Steyr prohunter and love it, i'm no expert but comfortably shoot deer out to about 250 with a 200 zero. Very accurate with factory federal shoks, i know a guy who is shooting his with home loads to 500-600 yards very accurately. I'm selling mines, gun+2 mags, t8 mod and sling as i'm going for a .270 variation to cover all things shootable up here and i also fancy getting into the boars down south. 550 for cash no negotiations. I groups sub 2" at 200 yards with factory stuff and know this could be improved on by a good shot. Atb Chris.
  15. Hi folks, I'm having great difficulty not breaking my scope covers when i'm out hunting, i've tried being ultra carefull but i'm afraid its costing me a small fortune. Its time to try and find something along the lines of what MTC put on their scopes. My question is does anyone know of any aftermarket ones that are tough and won't break if they get caught up in anything? Regards Chris.
  16. Apart from taking my sons along sometimes to give them some experience i mostly shoot alone. I enjoy the freedom of going when i want and for however long i feel like staying out. I'm more tuned in alone and shoot more prey. Atb Chris.
  17. Ruby red devom minnows are lethal, learn to fish the devon like a fly and its a great way to catch salmon, very similar to fly fishing once the devons in the water. Cheap aswell. Abu Krills and flying C's for seatrout and salmon. Atb Chris.
  18. This is much better than CSI crime thingy and taggart, you guys are good, i was going to have a look at this until i read the posts, he's even evading the fact that you've explained how the matched mob number was given to someone on here by trying to say he's not put up a number, Doh!! These criminals are gladly not intelligent enough to fool the folks on here a second time. Well done folks, another dickhead to ban eh! Atb Chris.
  19. Sneak up on him in a Guilly suit and let of a flash bang behing him to show your hunting skills, that'll clinch it!!
  20. Get him an HW , it'll build his guns up and last him all his days! Only joking!!!....... ;-) Although my son who is 12 handles one of mines no problem. Had a HW30 at 10, loved it, my wee bro has it now and i fancy getting it back for my youngest. She's lovely Reaper6 any sisters??? Atb Chris.
