    Maybe shaaark i have heard both positive and negative regarding beardy crosses temperaments. My own experience is owning a 1st cross from Remus and the dogs temperament was bombproof real easy to live with.

    ive had 2 from there 80s early 90s you make some good points. Also due to the scale of a breeding kennels time involved feeding /cleaning etc the pups wont have the socialisation a home bred litter would. Then as you say it was up to the new owner to understand this have patience and put the work in.My opinion on how a lurcher turns out is do your best and hope for the best. You cant put in what nature left out.

    As you said greb the ref was a disgrace his corner should have also stopped the fight. Warrington a real tough kid how much did ring rust play a part. But that said the mexican was a hard punching strong opponent. i Hope this defeat does not damage his future career.

    My mate had a lurcher bitch off him early 90s about 18 months old turned out a decent lamper.

    Cracking pups my first bushing pup which put plenty up for the lurchers 36 years ago reminds me of your pup which has the black markings round the face and eyes. Best of luck to the new owners and to you if you kept one back.

    Reading on various plummer forums i think you have a group that are pushing for kc reg and a group who favour the outcross route and widening the gene pool with plenty of arguments inbetween. There seems to me a lot of infighting goes on between the owners of plummers.
