    i will ask my mate i think it is the first monday of every month from one of the social /legion clubs in rainford, i will find out i see him in a day or 2. its a nice quiet water the delph its at the back of a row of bungalows with farmland all around not a big water but its worth a try.

    There is a small water called the delph at the back of henderson drive in rainford some good fish in there im told my mate lives very close to it. Have you heard of it?i dont know what other waters are on the permit i think one in crawford but could be wrong. i have seen some good catches of coarse fish out of the delph and some decent carp out of there.You can access the water through a gate on news lane. Have a look on google maps i never see a lot of people fishing there seems nice and quiet.

    plenty of coarse fish some carp its also a well known area for attracting doggers plenty of them around that area. That doesn't surprise me down that neck of the woods i lived in upholland for 7 years have you ever fished the water at the bottom of ormskirk rd near the brick works ?

    Maybe phone rainford fieldsports to see if they know and can point you in the right direction. i have heard you can get them from the golden lion pub in rainford but not 100% on this maybe worth a phone call.

    seen that..bit of a headcase lol Seen a doc on him read his book sweet agony. spent over 20 years of his life in prison. Had 10 pro fights won 6 lost 3 drew 1.The british heavyweight John L Gardner beat him in 6 rounds. Died in 2007 2 kids he had are serving life in prison for murder. That man was a stark raving lunatic, he could fight in his heyday. Can't believe quit while challenging for the Commonwealth title. i didnt see the fight but read he turned his back and quit. Reading the book etc he came across as a lunatic.

    Had 2 but a long time ago in the 80s. One 3/4 bred from chuckles made 24 tts very good nose on the dog done well on rabbits /day night started to knock over daytime hares.He had good potential but died at 2. The next a beardy 1/2 cross from remus decent rabbit dog day/night. Did catch a good number of daytime hares these were hunted up 25 tts lived 17 years a real nice dog to have around thought a lot of him.

    I have usually bought ferrets in i have only bred 3 litters in the last 20 odd years. The best were 2 jills one about 10 years ago which i didnt breed from but with hindsight should have done i had her litter sister also who was not to her standard. The next jill who was as good as the one i have mentioned i bred last year to a hob i have who is a decent worker. She died a short time ago which gutted me age 4. Both these jills went from day one. Out of the litter i have kept back 2 jills and 2 hobs they were a late litter they have only been lightly worked. This season they will be tested. 1 j
