I honestly believe wholeheartedly in English independence; but would never resort to petty name-calling, that is not nationalism it is nonsense. I don't believe England should be any more united with Scotland or Wales than with Germany or the Netherlands; and that is not borne of xenophobia: some of the happiest times of my life have been spent in the latter two nations. Nationalism is a wonderful thing, but all to often gets mixed up with petty dislikes, stereotypes, and jingoism. I know Derbyshire is a bit "out in the sticks" and you might not have noticed but 75% of England is a foreign country,the clues in my location. Wont be long until all the "British" need each other. What have the English ever done for "us"? Absolutely nothing at all, so make sure you put your x in the right place when it comes to a vote on independence.

I am 100% convinced that England should secede from the union, but we won't have a vote on that so I hope the Scots and Welsh do vote for complete independence.
