    its got to be an old starter motor bendix, pre engaged type, the one's with out the solenoid attached to the starter motor then yes you can! type in ebay starter solenoid! edit again for the spool/wheel , just use an old mig welding spool cheers for info mate thats a big help cheers

    i like the vodka one best,i dont like slows or gin,but like slow jin better with vodka than gin the slow's,the coluor is from the skin its called tanning nd changes with clear demijohns in time,but stays same colour if you use brown demijohns or put a brown paper bag over the clear ones,its the light from the sun that clear's it,atb lads mick :thumbs:ps slows taste dry,damsons are sweater nd pips are rounder.

    I think the "brain" comment is due to the fact a lot of collie lurchers pick their runs, if they are slipped on a rabbit they deem to close to the hedge or seemingly uncatchable they either run half heartadly or refuse to run. I prefer a dog that doesn't think, but simply reacts and runs each rabbit like its life depends on it....... too true,, with the experence of hunting rabbits with colliesx's,,getting so angry at them without showing the dog your angry,that you want to go home nd pull your own eyelids off then inject yourself with ,cos they can also sulk them collie,lurcher's....

    and i dont think a bullx can kill a daytime hare kill or catch both have you had both? bye that i mean a bullx nd a salukix nd put them on hares to try?also not just flat fields just a question bud not meny have thats all. my mate has a bullx and i have a saluki. bullx is mustard on foxes and catches the odd hare saluki catches plenty of hares and the odd fox just depends what what your after if u want a fox dog get a bullx if u want a hare dog spot on mate,some are better than other's some arnt,but they are all lurchers

    Thanks. You can make a run really cheaply from herras fencing, the panels are available to buy most places (there's a list on Ebay i got mine from) and at £12-£15 each they are cheap & cheerful. They measure 11ft long & 6ft high, just look out for a cheap garden shed to turn into a kennel and put it all together ask at bullding site's with harris fencing on it,,, as if they are broken they have to pay for them to be skipped,so they will give you them sometimes,i like the stiff stuff you can just tiewrap together,whish i could do pic's to show you how easy they are to make,

    dont worry too much on size mate,it could go to whippet or greyhound,with you being an air gun keeper,i am tipping its for rabbits,nd lamping so it should do a good job for you given time,no matter what the size, atb mick

    in past not seen meny salukix greyhounds for foxing dogs put a bit of bull in them yes nd yes seen them used,if you was going to buy a dog just for fox work it would not be a saluki or saluki greyhound,now am not pulling these dogs down as they are good hare dogs owt that can run a bit,come on lads if you was putting money down it wouldnt be on these dogs for fox..be honest.few nd far between....

    Had them picking runs at 18 mnths old on the lamp never mind 3 or 4,, too much collie aint a good thing,,, 1/4 tops and hold one back that throws the least in appearance,,,but even then if one throws to the COLLIE HEAD side it woldnt be a first. but ive seen first cross collies never pick there runs and never want to,not as good as bullx on fox but some can hold them without being hurt....(is a german shepard classed as a collie?)

    gready sods yes,but its in there make up to live without food then gorge nd fill up,did you see the collie on telly that fell down a cliff it stayed on a ledge but lived was a few years ago nd it made me look into how nd why it could do it.funny how you remember stuff about dogs, then carnt remeber how to put pic's on computers. atb mick
