  1. Yes mate, pretty much saw the lot, saw them in the flesh plenty to, the sad thing is there wasn't any fancy phones about back then, no pictures to look back on
  2. Hardly fair RH, that's a piss poor picture of Rags, wet clay all over her doesn't make for a looker. Trouble in a better pose
  3. Easily mate, she's 9 years old now and as good a bitch as I've ever owned
  4. Six generations from the start
  5. The one thing that always grinds me is the stamp of all of the fell legends of yesteryear, just look at the old pictures of the terriers that made their names, and look at the type that destroyed that name........no resemblance
  6. Granddaughter, and FM, zoom in on the picture of Ken holding Smithy, the dogs stripped completely back.........not that that ever proved a single thing
  7. I thought that had got a serious tale on it for a second ? Fair play, they love the sun as much as we do
  8. Is he undershot ? Nice type even if he is
  9. What proof is there that EVERY Patterdale has bull in the mix ? I've personally owned two Lakeland x bulls, stone mad and as much use as tits on a fish.
  10. You're free to disagree Kaiser, it's hard to tell off a picture, you don't have the benefit of handling the dogs, but the head is no where near the same quality. Glyn you'd know more than most but don't put on the rose tinted glasses, your pup has a much better muzzle and much better bone.
  11. You're doing yourself an injustice there Glyn, they're no where near the quality of stamp as that pup, not even close.
  12. You won't get a vet to look at it unless it's a medical condition. ........you're stuck with it mate
  13. About the only sensible answer in the whole cock measuring competition so far..............my dad's bigger than your dad bla, bla, bla
  14. I never understood the concept of work, you give up your life to get the money to enjoy the things you're told you need to enjoy your life, it's all a massive con. I refuse to conform then, I refused to conform now, hunting is to important to miss, you don't get a second chance .
  15. White, black or pink, that's a cracking stamp of a terrier, very nice
  16. What a bellend, I've kept and worked terriers for 35 years, obviously in that time I've tried all manner of methods of stripping and clipping. Not every dog in my yard warrants clipping, if the coat is short enough to brush and strip easily enough then they get that, if they look like the arse end of a wooly mammoth then they'll get clipped. Genuine offer, come and run your hands over one, make an informed judgement instead of talking out of your arse
  17. You're presuming I've never stripped a dog, I've done both for years, clipping, stripping, same result. Rabbit hunters dogs coat started right, got clipped, came back right, what's to know ? Does hand stripping give the coat super powers ? I've clipped a couple out in the yard a few weeks ago, you're welcome to run your hands over them, you won't find any soft coats here
  18. And from the front I look like a cock, I see where this is going ?
  19. Thinking back, my mum told me if I eat my crusts it'll make my hair grow curly, she lied to me ! She also said if I had my hair cut short it'd grow back thicker......again, bullshit, I'm balder than a snooker ball
  20. You boys crack on, I don't know why I bite, just promise me you'll try it and I'll go away I'm wise enough not take advice from fools
  21. Nonsense, one hair can stand it but the other can't "really "
  22. Think about it logically, what do you think happens to the hair, does the panic set in at the follicle or mid hair just after it's been cut ? Does the hairs molecular structure change because it's been cut absolutely no where near the follicle ? It doesn't make sense because it's bollox
