  1. I atended the fair on saturday I enjoyed the day immensly, but I must say the angling section was very poor this year. The absence of some of the usual traders was noticable, maybe it is due to the high costs of trade stands at the show a lot of work will have to be done to rectify this for future years if the show is to continue to be succesful.
  2. Here is an extract from the wildlife act 1976 regarding the hunting and coursing of hares in ireland. (2) The Minister may grant to the master or other person having charge for the time being of a pack of beagles or harriers a licence to hunt hares in any district or districts specified in the licence with that pack on such day or days (being a day or days which are not specified in a hares order) as are both specified in the licence and are in the year in which the licence is granted. (3) The Minister may, on an application made by any coursing club which

Are bull crosses prone to skin dissorders, my 18 month bitch has a skin problem she is losing her hair it started around her thighs and under her belly she has some red blotches on her skin where she lost the hair, the vet reckons its in her breeding but I have a full sister to her and there is no problem with her. Iv'e changed her food to a low protein in the hope this will make a difference. If any one had similar problems with this I would be gratefull for any infomation on how you sorted the problem.

  7. Its the same story up and down the country all of our rivers are being fleeced by gangs of poachers the fishery board bailifs can only watch a small percentage of the waters and now that the season is over the poachers have a free run.
  8. The salmon fishing season has come to an end on most irish rivers and by all acounts it is one to forget. The dry summer months and low water levels didnt help the run of salmon particulary the rivers Suir and Nore, the usual big run of fish that these rivers are accustomed to just didnt materelise. We heard of large numbers of salmon gathering in the estuary waiting to make their journey up river but all we got was odd fish here and there. Still some fiseries were reporting great fishing with large catches week after week when other beats were strugling. All we can hope for now is a big flo

  11. What do you all think of the new Irish government? will the coalition work together well enough to sort out the mess the last lot left behind or will it be another disaster? Will enda stand up to the chalanges that lie ahead or will he falter? will the labour party be able control things? It will be interesting to see what way will the independents perform and which side they take. I suppose only time will tell.

  13. Tell your mate to stay well clear of muzzles and if he doesn't like digging to the ferrets he would be better off finding another hobby as digging is all part and parcel of the game.

If Ireland win the 2011 eurovision we will have to host the contest next year every-body knows we can't afford all the expence so the only option is to send the two biggest prix we can find to make sure we dont win. Enter Jedward.

I didn't see Matty McGrath's (fiana fall) name on either list he voted against the government on the hunting bill he lost his place in the party over it. Dont get me wrong I'm not pushing for him in any way just pointing out that his name is missing. He was at the national coursing meeting plying for votes this week on the strenght of his stand against the hunting ban.
  21. Absolutly nothing wrong with being a keyboard hunter if thats what keeps you happy as for me I don't give a shit what others do I just like coming on here for a bit of banter when I;m not out doing a bit.
  22. What type of person would you class as a keyboard hunter? Is it somebody that puts up a few posts now and then or sombody that has over 1000 posts or replys under their avatar? It amazes me how some members can have so many posts when they are only members here for a short time they musn't spend too much time out in the fields.
