  1. Thanks for the replies guys. Much appreciated
  2. Iv got a good few Roe to Cull and was wondering what's the best thing to use to get them using one spot. I saw the pipe feeders on another thread. But what mix would be best to use in them. Or would a couple of salt licks be a better idea? Any advice appriciated.
  3. God's Country! Looked like a good turn out pal. Always nice to see
  4. It looks to me officer that he was out rabbitng and then got caught up on some barbed wire. But Im sure he was rushed staright to the vets and cleaned up. And all for a couple of hundred pounds! Bargin....

  9. Cheers lads. Hopefully pick it up this week
  10. Iv decided to opt for a Howa instead of the Remington 770. Any of you guys use this rifle in 243? What do you think of it.
  11. Yeah iv been having a look. Will most places send them down to my nearest dealer?
  12. Anyone got one or shot one? Im after a set up for a bit of Deer/Fox control but my budget is around £500. Can anyone recommend anything different. Im not a hard core stalker or someone that spends hours polishing my Barrel! Lol. Just need a decent tool at an affordable price.
  13. Not many do the job below pal. There are some good dogs out there but that can be said for every breed. A lot of the blokes Iv spoke to that do work them to ground say there ok. But it depends what your standards are I suppose. Iv got a young dog ready to go this season. Seems keen enough but time will tell. I'd say the best lines out there are kept close to the chest.
  14. Yes sorry I didn't get back to you mate. I'm sorted for the minute. A mate of mine has been helping me out. We will be doing more once the does are in. Cheers anyway pal
  15. Sorry about that pal. At least he is safe and sound.
  16. Put him on a step or a pallet or something mate. Then hold the bitch steady for the old boy. Lol

  18. Is it true they can't use locators over there mate. That would take some getting used to. So what time you picking me up mate? Lol. Lucky git!
  19. No doubt your right fireman. But Iv not seen or heard of any I'd take pups from. Hopefully that will have changed if I ever get another Plummer. My only interest is earth work now. I don't rat or rabbit with my terriers. I like the plummer as a breed. My young dog is a cracker. But I'd only have another out of line bred earth dogs.
  20. I'd call it line breeding which is the only way to breed a decent working strain. Not putting any old dog over a bitch because its won a few rossettes like most people in plummers.
  21. Was up there myself a couple of weeks ago. There is only 2 people I'd have a Plummer off and he is one of them. I went from there to Essex and back to Cornwall in a weekend. 800 miles in total. The things we do for our dog! LOL
  22. Did you get her from south Wales mate? If it's the line I think it is then she should be a cracking bitch for you.
