    Yeah I'm aware of the laws, I don't want to go after foxes, mainly rabbits, I was just saying that iv seen a fair few foxes around and I don't want a dog that will get beat up if we come across one, iv heard most dogs go mad for foxes and are hard to call off once they give chase. Thanks johnny I'll keep that in mind, like I say it will be a few months untill I'm after one, just doing my home work before I commit to a pup.

    Are they ok against foxes, there is quite a few on my permission that's all, I'll have to have a look at them then, I'm guessing fist cross would be the way to go

    I'm looking for some genuine advice please guys, iv been browsing these forums for a while now trying to understand as much as I can about my new hobby, iv started shooting with an air rifle and I'm looking at getting my shot gun licence, and in a few months I want to get a pup to bring on, it's going to be my first working dog, and it's mainly rabbits that I will be putting it on, but I also want it for ratting, also I want a dog that will be able to take on a fox if we come upon one. So should I get a terrier or running dog? Or a mix, any sensible advice would be much appreciated

    Hey all, Im fairly new to the site and very new to this section so im after some advice. Iv just been given an Air Arms TX200 which im told is a pretty good Rifle. The problem is its pretty rusty, Inside the barrel looks pretty clean but the exterier of the rifle is pretty rusty. Also im pretty sure its kicking out more power then it should be. So am i best taking it to a Gun shop and getting them to give it a good service? Or are these problems pretty easy to fix at home? Plus if i do take it in do you know how much it might cost roughley?     Would anyone be willing to let me tag along on a permission with them, I dont mind what sort of shoot, Rabbits, Rats anything, Just looking for a good Day/Night out. Im based in London but ill travel anywhere for a decent shoot. Im 26 and in the army so im not just some muppet that wants to kill things! Just after meeting some new people with the same interest and i have no permission of my own. Thanks all.

    Hi all, Im New to the Forum, Well the Air gun section anyway and was wondering if you could give me some advice. Im after a new Rifle. The last one i had was a couple of years ago, HW100, It was awesome but i had to sell it as i needed the cash. Now im after another but my budget is around £500, I want a pre-charged and multi shot. Iv been having a look and the BSA Scorpion T-10 looks pretty good, Just wondering if anyone has one and would you recommend one, Or what else would you recommend. Cheers lads.

    I am a Newbie and i also wanted to know more about Bull X Grey, There seems to be alot on this site and iv seen alot of people use them for lamping. Im glad someone asked the question as i was going to ask the same, What sort of cross would you recommend for Lamping? Im sure everyone has a preference and opinion but some feed back would be great for us Newbies!

    Hey all, Im new to this site and new to the Sport/Hobby. Im currently living in London due to work But im also down in Cornwall for a week out of every month as thats were my Family are living. Im really keen to Buy a Terrier but i want to get some experiance hunting before i buy my own dog. Iv always been a massive Hunter but iv been limited to using my Air Rifle and occasionally my friends shotgun on his farm. I was just wondering if anyone in and around London or down in Cornwall would be willing to take me out with them just so i can get some experiance. Im even willing to travell further
