    Turned lamp of as dog reached gate at end of field, dog jumped gate landed on road, ran 50yds down road and made the catch, pads and stoppers cut up, id rather she dident to be honest. .atb. .ste.

    I disagree j.d . . . . . I recon if you shoot a pidgeon up the arse with a .243 its still going down :laugh: o.k, so whats better .22 or .177 . . . . I take head or body shots as and when they come, just got to judge it for yourself, for me personaly there is someting satisfying about clean head shots so usualy favour those, but as i said before, take them as they come Nice shooting,

    My pup tore a stopper and a the back of a rear pad and a heel, jumping a gate then catching a rabbit on the road out of the lamp, antiseptic on the grazes on the back pad and ancle, good clean and dab of glue on the stopper, two weeks ago, she was good to go again after a week, just depends how bad i guess

    My grey x whippet caught her first two rabbits on a golf course, great to watch, sharp turns and long sprints. Quality!

    Someone stood next to your car with a screwdriver at 2am is doing nothing wrong (technicaly) but the police would say hes going equiped, and well if you caught him you would just kick his head in. If your going to poach dont bother trying to hide behind " its a public footpath" just dont get caught is my opinion, im not condoning nor condeming poaching, one for the pot and all that. Just get on with it.

    I think type of police helps, we had transport police out before, apparently red filters are a no, no,, near the tracks (prety obvious why when someone points it out) never really gave it a thaught to be honest. I just think they dont have the same targets to meet, they were pretty sound to be fair.

    Cheers, ill keep at it, a lot of sheep in fields near my house at the min, so im making the most of it as there is public right of way through them

    How do you go about doing it? Tips? Still a bit more work to do, showing a little more intrest than i would like to see, have walked her through stock, yanked the lead if pulled ect, would i trust her in a field with sheep? Definatley not is answer if i am honest. any advice welcome she 11months and spot on with everything else, its something i need to get sorted and quick, cheers.
