If you really want to use this method I have seen people soak cotton wool buds in Potassium Permanganate then place on the skull. i always make sure the antlers are sitting in the pot with the antlers on the rim of the pot so they will not move then slowly pour the bleach in this is the way i was shown and it always brought my antlers out minted so i will stick to it everyones methods are different and wh
  7. you can use any part of the fur for fly tieing its the way its tied that floats it not just tied onto a hook i can tie the fly but could explain how to do it

  9. i just throw it in the pot the boiling water lifts the skin off the skull might have to pick off a couple of tough bits but most of it peels with the water

  12. yep, the .22's pellets weigh more i gotta admit, since i got my eye in with the '95 i havent used the hw100 that much at all, i just love the feel of the springer, and the simplicity of chuckin some pellets in me pouch and going out for a mooch with it- just classic hunting for the sheer crack of it- ing ace!!! cheers, wurz hi wurz i was meaning the guns not the pellets lol i'm not a pure numpty lol

  15. i used to be dead against owning a pcp the main 2 reasons are 1.the price of them 2.having to refill them and and not having a bottle to fill but i had my first contact with a pcp on a day out and when i held it and felt the weight and noise difference i have to admit i was quite impressed i would never go without a good springer for all the obvious reasons but i will be putting some coin aside and adding a pcp to my arsenal at some point in the future i will add this aswell not that it will make much difference just plainly on an pleasing to the eye point of view imo that some

  17. theres a couple of reasons not to put 2 dogs to ground together first and foremost imo is because the dog at the back will push the front dog into un nessecary punishment from the front while the eager beaver at the back bites the backend of the dog in frustration the 2 dogs could turn and fight each other and if the 2 dogs manage to squeez in together they are not going to be able to breath and if jammed together the 2 dogs will soon suffocate different when you break through though as you are beside the dogs in the dig to prevent any of the above
