Dont think your wrong as such good and bad in every one. what you have to remember is that the new generation of hunters are 10-30 yrs old, they dont do it now cos its illegal, theyve always done it but its not 'cool' to wear other stuff, i go coursing with young and old, some in tracksuits and trainers, some in full camo, some in shirt and tie, takes all sorts, but as long as we all like the same thing who cares. Its easy to say these are the people giving the sport a bad name but some of these 'kids' have never owned a dog before ban, but used to do it as a youngster. The temptation of

Looks like it's on a steep bank to me That dog looks a cracker mate i've dug more than a few steep bankings and alot steeper than that one and i've never had to open a hole that wide for that depth but you have to admit that doesnt look like a straight down dig if i'm wrong then fair play but to me that looks like a trench
-
looks like you trenched it correct me if i'm wrong but the dig looks awfy big for the depth well done with the fox though

i think with alot of lads now not all but some its more a case of not drawing so much attention to themselves walking through the scheme cammoed up nobody batters an eyelid if your walking a dog with a trackie on but if your cammoed up then every cnut knows or think they know what your up to but i would have to agree with the bloke that said that cant remember exact words but basically there are undesirable lurcher owners walking about with their realtree just the same as there are undesirables in trackies dont know about anybody else here but i dont know anybody who got into hu

like i said bud i see folks points of view on the matter just pointing out that folk that wear trakkie's seem to all get classed as lower than anybody else just on the basis of what clothes they have on which imo is a bit discrimitave

lol i was re-building a dyke last year and when i was removing the loose stone a massive copper coloured one came darting out right at me i didnt realise it was a grass snake right away cos it was moving so quick and i tell you's I FUKING SHIT MYSELF thing was 3ft long biggest one i ever seen when i realised it was only a grass snake i picked it up and placed it further down the dyke
-
i do see folks points of view here BUT why does a bloke's attitude to working dogs always get judged on what they are wearing ? a mans clothes does not determin his attitude to dogs i realise that there is a lot of trakkie wearing folk that do have no respect for his dogs or quarry but it seems to me that everyone of them get tarred with the same brush

hahahaha thought that myself but didny want to be the one to say it

AFAIK, polecats are not offered the same protection as Bagders, although both are afforded by section 9 of the Wildlife and COuntryside act (WCA) 1981, being listed under schedule 5, Badgers are also further protected under the Badger act 1992. Chaffinches are also protected by the WCA, but I am not aware that they can not be kept as pets (captive bred would be my guess) I think lisencing only comes in once you have a potentially dangerous animmal, such as a boar, wolf or raptor or owl, then you have to be lisenced to keep the animal in question. nice one with the rabbit mate he hasnt been interested in retrieving at all and the droppers he has had was some carry on trying to get them so i dont know what switched him on cos it defo wasnt fresh in his mind lol all we can do is keep at it though and see how they go well if you ask me there is no point in buying a pup/dog just because its got fancy famous dogs in its line cos that dont gurantee that the one you get is going to be any good and it also brings it more to the attention of ass hole thieving cnuts whereas if the breeding isnt well known then less likely a tar

thats true but how can anybody be sure of the percentages of guests actually being anti's i have browsed through some other forums as a guest and i'm certainly no anti and of the guests who are against us how many of them will know that poley's are protected? as i say i never knew that they were protected but anyway i'm one of these blokes who dont give a monkeys about anti's or what they think but i do see the points of not feeding them but maybe if we feed them enough they will choke hahaha -

not everybody on this site is quick enough at sticking to the law but they certainly are quick enough at pointing out when someone else has pushed the boundry maybe not everybody knows that poley's are protected and i for one didnt and i've been hunting for 15/16 years and if they are so protected why are folk allowed to keep them without liscence? badgers are under the same protection but your not allowed them as pets a poley is just another threat if you ask me and just as much a threat as any mink but you dont hear folk on the site condoneing folk for killing them on sigh -
looks like to me i'm trying not to scare every member who looks at the pic with the mug i've got cheers mate

well at the end of the day i have gave long enough for other entries or pics to get posted i could of cancelled it due to lack of entries but then it wouldnt be fair on the 9 lads who did actually make an effort and if there is an outright winner then so be it but its all down to the votes and if the ones without pics are just stories or actual days out well so be it too again its not for me to decide and its the votes that count i have my own oppinions but they dont count and its down to the members to vote and thats what decides the winner not just the say of you or i all i can d
