    his breeding is a bit of a mouthfull lol a mate of mine knows its breeding i keep forgeting lol but basically he has saluki greyhound bull beddy whippet beardie deerhound something along they lines anyway lol maybe he will see the thread and enlighten us with what percentages i'm not too fussed whats in him his parents worked grandparents worked and so on and he is coming along nicely so thats all i'm interested in i'm not one for fancy breeding or top names as long as i have a dog from workers then i'm happy enough with that

    well i took my pup a walk last night with the air rifle conditions were total pants no wind very little cloud cover and the odd patch of mist every now and then cant get good nights all the time anyway wasnt much about very little in fact as usual but make do with whats there...after about an hour walking i came across a woodcock in the middle of a barley field and managed to get to 35yrds away and thump 1 woodcock down with a wee hop first thanfully the dog seen it hop so sent him for it and like a pro he had it right to hand no messing about which i was as much suprised as i was chuf

    no worries ric i do see where you were coming from though and i know lamperman is likeminded with me and dont kill for the sake of it and take pride in a clean kill not the species that was killed and i % of the time kill the weak and leave the strong and only taking the odd healthy bunny for the pot the weak go to the dogs and if the poley was in an area that it would not pose as much a threat to other species i have no problems with leaving it alone and i know lamperman would do the same but hey fair play to you for appoligising and hers a wee sp for it cheers john

    bollox my arse if i see a poley on my ground if its not able to be caught and kept then it will be classed as wild and will be dealt with competition for rabbits isnt a problem for me cos theres not much to go at here in the first place i'm talking more on the wavelength of folk who keep fowl or gamebirds and if a poley/ferret wild or tame comes across a pen then they will take out some birds plain and simple pest control and not to mention ground nesting bird are at threat and by the way c**t i dont kill everything i see and i let more than enough foxes go after i've dug to them and

    if somebody lost it then they should have made more of an effort to catch it lost and left to roam it soon becomes a pest and finds its way into chicken pens etc nice shooting with the bunnies and hare
