  1. Yes its ok mate but pigeons good meat for us, if it were me i would rather have it myself! Lol! Just either pluck or skin it and gut it then drop it on the floor for the dog. I still think you would be better to cut off the breasts and let the ferrets have the rest though. Cut the breasts into thin slices, fry off some onion and garlic, drop in the meat, give it a good stir, add salt n pepper, various herbs, a handfull of dried cranberrys, 2 handfulls of frozen peas, let it simmer till almost done then add a tin of chicken soup. At the same time be boiling a cupfull of rice, once the rice is d
  2. Mate your better off using a smoker. The ferrets gonna get killed or badly fooked up sooner or later otherwise. Rats are visious b*****ds, especially a doe protecting her young.
  3. I wouldnt give crow to anything but the bushes mate but squizzers, pigeon, most birds, rabbits are ok for the ferrets. Rabbits are ok for the dogs too. I wouldnt give the dogs squizzers and i would nt give pigeons to the dogs neither as there aint much to them once youve cut the breast off to eat yourself and i just give it to the ferrets.
  4. Bootsha looked after me recently as well, very good bloke. He wont put you wrong.
  5. Have a look through my content, i answered a post on "chinning, how to do it properly" a month or so back mate. http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/topic/180708-chinning/page__p__1827646__fromsearch__1#entry1827646
  6. Pmsl! Oh the irony! Complaining about lamping and battery konking out and then calling someone a "bright spark"! Love it!
  7. Yes its america but thats hardly the point. Look at the facts it dont matter where they live mink are still extremely destructive little fuckers. And the wording! Lol! Bright button nose bla bla. Surely the only right thing to do if you find a paralized mink would be to finish it off not sit there hand wringing and then sing halliulja when its returned to the wild!
  8. Id rather put it to a good border collie myself mate.

  10. Fair play re the reasons listed mate. Other than the dog aggression one, if a dog is aggressive i wouldnt breed from it.
  11. I dont mean to sound daft here but why can you not just wait till the bitch is in season then give her and the dog the run of the garden and let nature take its course?
  12. Dear DogMagic I hope you enjoy what could become a life prison sentence after taking your revenge on a family for your own irresponsible actions. It seems from reading your post that you would be wise to have a word with your GP and see if an anger management course can be arranged as threatening to murder an entire family by arson is not the sort of thing that a rational person would do. The annoying thing is that as a tax payer I will be providing you with food and accomodation during your lengthy period of imprisonment. The only consolation is that you would be unable to breed d
  13. Never mind the legal point of veiw here, are any of you really thick enough to believe that you will get away with shooting someones dog? I can assure you if anyone shot my dog i would be looking for payback in a VERY VERY big way but i certainly wouldnt be involving the police and if other members of your household happened to be in at the time then the whole lot of them would be toast! Think about it! Im far from the only dog owner in the world that would react in such a way. As has been said, i/ we love my/our dogs as if they were our kids. If some c**t shot your kid what would you do? Take
  14. I think he means he doesn't feed the lumps of pure fat. There is probably plenty of fat on the meat he feeds as it is. Thats right. There is enough fat for them amongst what i give them. Also as i said "In the winter i do allow them a tiny bit of fat per day but im only talking 1/2 a pound in weight between 5 of them." This is because they work hard during the winter (season) and also because its that much colder. Fat helps them keep warm and it is energy. I just dont give them to much of it as this would be counterproductive. Also i give them blended veg/fruit, cod liver oil, fish,
  15. I get my dog grub from the butcher too and the price i pay for it is that i get rid of his crap so i go through every bag i get from him and sort the good stuff from the crap. The good stuff gets bagged up into daily portions and frozen, the crap gets taken away by the bin man. I dont give mine the fat, trotters, pigs heads, pig skin or ears simply because it has no goodness in it. In the winter i do allow them a tiny bit of fat per day but im only talking 1/2 a pound in weight between 5 of them. They get all the offal, flesh and bones and they are thriving on it.
  16. Not easy veiwing but im putting it up so as many peeps as poss can get involved. We all know the koreans are sick minded, vile little mothers c**ts but this is disgusting on a whole new level! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vGC9XtnHSU0

  22. There are a lot of qualifications for pest control. The big one that an employer will be looking for is the rsph. There is a pest control supplier called killgerm chemicals which is who i use for everything. They can advise you best, probably best to start off with their day long foundation courses in rodent biology/control, insect biology/control, safe use of pesticides then try and get some experience. You havent a hope in hell of passing the rsph without some experience. Then of course theres the insurance, cost of materiels, traps, poisons, starage and transportation of chemicals, keeping
