    Is it quite a harsh coat on your dogs the one shake and they are dry type northernlite? Mine is soft and to be honest a nightmare.

    What are people's preference. I have a rough coated at the minute and would never have one again complete nightmare. Everything sticks to it especially when he backs half way up a tree when taking a dump. Also everyone thinks he's a fat bast@£d. Def smooth coated for my next dog.

    The price and the box they come in Deerman , I compared the two lamps and they are exactly the same. I bought the more expensive one mate bought the cheaper version he hasn't stopped laughing since.

    I think skycat has an article about tug training in the articles sections. Well worth a read and works. But you have to keep it up don't after one night of good retrieves think you have cracked it.

    Couldn't agree more border lad, one man one dog early morning mooch and hopefully some decent scan at the end of it.

    I have never dug to terriers ever, but would like to one day.

    What were people's favourite quarry before the hunting ban was forced upon us? For me it was deer really used to get the heart pumping watching a dog behind one.

    I have seen dogs obviously pre ban take Roe quite regular single handed once they got the knack and I'm talking daytime hunting. Fallow where a different kettle of fish altogether and the same dogs sometimes struggled to get them on the ground. Could have been the calibre of the dog mainly Beddie/grey crosses I saw run at the time. Maybe a bit of bull in the mix might have given them a bit more strength and power.

    We must be the only ones mad enough to have them. Who else would have 2 mad terrier breeds in the mix.

    He's a lump mate, but don't let that fool you. Be good to see the pics of your pup. If anything like mine it will test your patience but hoping for good results with mine this season. ATB Allan.

    26" ish maybe a tad taller and around 27kg I think he was around that when at vets for booster and wormer.

    I think he's 1/2 cross bull to 1/2 cross beddy. He looks massive on the photo but that's mainly his coat. I had him off a lad who's on here he doesn't come on much but hopefully he might see it and comment.
