    he's been out a couple of times, normally take his brother out, who's slightly smaller, plus his mum and sister, but have been meaning to make up a bigger carry box, so I can take more than 3 along at a time, as much as I love the smaller jills, for the swiftness they can go through a warren, there's nothing like sending the big boys in to get em bolting

    some of you already know, my ferrets are kept in a ferret court, which is an old converted anderson shelter, I normally give them a plastic sack to play with, while cleaning them out, plus get my other half to help keep them amushed, otherwise I get 9 trying to go up my trousers happy watching http://s2.photobucket.com/albums/y29/eastl...adhalfhour1.flv

    it all depends what you see happening in the future? will you want any offspring from this hob, if not then as long as he is over 6 months old, get the snip done on him (not castration) as some vets may advise, as a castrated hob will not bring your jills out of season, then once he's over his op, and firing blanks he can live constantly with the jills, bringing them out of season, if at any time you wish to breed, borrow an entire hob for that particular jill,

    make sure you check if she has any fleas/ticks in the first two weeeks of pregancy and treat if she has, once/if a litter arrives you'll want to leave her alone (bedding) and therefore you wont get a build up or parasites on the litter, if/when she has young, leave alone, dont go poking ya nose in there showing everyone dont over feed thinking she is feeding for more than just herself, you want her healthy not fat/overweight read as many books as poss keep the hutch very clean/remove muck everyday!!!!! give lots extra bedding, but dont overfill, make sure her bedding are
