so magwitch invited me to a few hours ferreting, to give ted a taste of whats to come, thankfully the rain stayed away all day, we started off on a roadside hedgerow, netting both sides and got 3, ted showed off a little jumping the nets, anyway we moved on to another three areas within the orchard and took another 4, magwitch kindly donated some of this weekends catch to me(fri/sat) to re stock my freezer, but have a few to many now, if anyone local to essex wants 10 frozen rabbits, that they can pick up in the next few hours, they are welcome to them oh, and ted learned to carry a rabbit

ditch, are they saying you have to pay 5% to the builder of the total price, and do you need to get more than one quote, or are you so remote that finding one will be hard if you can find 3, get them quoting "verbally" hopefully you'd get differnt ammounts from each, ask them if they dont mind a bit of conning the govement, tell them its on a grant, and to add 10% to there estimates in writing, send off all 2/3, the grant people will pick the lowest quote, but of course it will still be 10% more than what the builder really wants so say he wanted £25,000 + 10% would be £2,500= £27,500

good point, why are you saying she's pregnant, jills come into season when the days get longer, their vulva swells to a degree that its sticking out their rear end, the hob will bite the back of the jills neck to keep hold of her and have his wicked way, does any of that ring true, did you see/notice a swelling did you witness a proper mating or did you see ferrets playing if the jills had come into season some how, then the hob would have had both of them, are you 100% sure the extra weight gain is'nt just cos she's the dominant jill, and getting more food than the other

hope every thing goes well with your ferrets mate must be mad about your ferrets as they only 5 pound each full respect mate too many people have the same attitude towards ferrets, be they £5 or £15, and therefore wont payout £100 plus on a locator etc, but at the end of the day, Id rather pay it out on my hunting hobbies, than drink it down the pub

was told mine have dissolvable stiches, thought it would be a bit tricky taking stiches out with a wriggling ferret unless a sedative was given, as mine are in a court system, there was no way of controlling the food intake of each ferret, so am going to keep them together in a breeding pen for a week or two -
they are only worth, as much as someone is willing to pay

it all depends on your ferrets mate, mine are kept in the court system (altogether) so other jills act as surrogate aunts and take the pressure off the mum, but you have to be fully confident of your ferts, deciede what your going to do, and get it sorted, rather than leaving it too late and distressing the jill with a split later on

well, they are both home ok, but the vet has said to keep them seperated for a few days, as they have stiches etc, also said the pair of them are well overweight, so prob best if i keep them seperate to allow me to give them measured amounts of food, rather than in the ferret court where they take what they want (dominance) so, question, do i carry on feeding rabbit, or switch to dry (calm down ditch) just while they are on their diet question, anyone know in weight how much feed should be given per day to a fert? -

firstly, when its going haywire, have you got ya mobile phone in ya pocket, seems they interfear with them, check all batteries, although deben quote 300 hours in the collar, which i worked out to around a years worth of ferreting, in reality it aint true, have had simular stuff to you, even after changing locator battery, thinking collars were fine, THEY AINT id say get the cheaper collar batteries in bulk, and throw them away after each use make sure you have the pinpoint control turned off, gets confussing with that sometimes

hanging on and not letting go is a different kettle of fish, that to me would mean a biter mine only ever mouth, no force what so ever, apart from brenda of course, but they are only nips, using a bit of force, but letting go straight away, its as if she's saying, he's mine

not seen it on mine, when ive had this sort problem with past motors, easiest way to find out, take out carpets, get upside down on seat, head in foot area, get other half/mate to use a hose, spraying all area outside car, look for where its coming in could be missing electrical grommets ??

have to agree with kay on that one, mine do it, without any force in their jaw, once used to it, I find it very re-assuring that my ferts are ok with me saying that, I have one jill "brenda" who try's taking lumps outta my other half, yet is fine with me....must me a woman/jealously thing
