    the jills come into season, with the longer daylight hours, if you lift their tail and look at the vulve, flat to the body, not in season, sticking out like a ship builders rivit, in season hobs will already getting randy, but if a jill aint in season, she'll soon show him who's boss find it hard to belive that people dont read up via books or the internet, or ask such questions BEFORE aquiring ferrets

    looks good shaggy, and them parrot boxes look good too, maybe get the black pipe in the outside part and fix to the back wall, can wind it into coil, or figure "s" shape, then back down, give you more floor space

    hi all, Im after something to stick onto a log burning stove, 4" diameter and about 3mtrs length, either cast iron pipe ,would then need a couple of 45 degree bends, or better still some of that corrigated ali chimney flu stuff could kick myself cos saw some on a skip and forgot to get it on way home and of course, within traveling distance to essex

    just had another go at cleaning certain area's, and realised the age of this has taken its toll on the enamel in quite a few places, so once the new shed is, giving me a dry work area, I'll be giving it a full coat of a heat proof paint I'll post some pictures when finished

    I've gor a couple of yard of shag-pile here pat, only a £5 she'll be telling us they have birthday parties next joking apart, looked at her website, and have to admit she's done a good job of the site, and clearly loves her ferts and probably takes better care of them than others

    like the sound of the bbq paint reasons not to bring rabbit indoors 1, means extra walking up and down 130yd garden 2, have done once or twice, but wouldent wanna do it every day 3, have a JRT that loves rabbit, so would need to put it somewhere safe 4, would then need a special "rabbit container" as they tend to drip blood everywhere 5, once in a blue moon ok, but then you'd get the moaning from the good lady, messing up her kitchen 6, thats what a bloke's shed is for 7, COS IVE JUST GOT A BLOODY LOG BURNER,

    shouldent be any floating embers, once lit, extra wood can be put in via the top lift of plate, already gave it a test run, without a flu, just to check seals around door etc, and made the mistake of touching it, to see if "its hot" those chiminia things aint got doors on them?, have they also, do they have a bottom vent/grill under the grate, to allow air pulling through to take the smoke up the chimney/flu would be weary of lighting it, with ferts in there just an idea, but would mean getting a good fire going, but keep it outside, with the flu running through the shed, using the h

    cheers ditch, thats what i thought too when i spotted it, couldent belive i'd won it so cheap, yup its already blue enamel, but in places its badly worn/burnt/marked, the guy i got it from said its pre war, he got it 20yrs ago from a guy in benfleet that was stripping a tug boat, so the sides aint enamelled, i suppose i could leave it as "is" just thought it would look good all black, (inc sides) its actually a water heater too, the water area being sides and back, but that bit aint been used, and cant see me having a use for boiling hot water in me shed, when i have the kitchen tap 100yds

    well, the hobs are all walking around with permanate stiffys, but the jills aint having none of it yet fingers crossed its another month or so before they come into season, have a new shed coming next weekend, and lots need doing at "my end of garden" so could do with a breather before sorting the breeding cages out

    so, call me mad, but I had this idea for ages, and its starting to take shape, have a very small piddly shed at the bottom of the garden, that houses my freezer for my caught rabbits (ferret food) plus an overspill of pest control stuff on loan from work plus my longnets etc, not enough room to swing a cat in, so the search was on for a bigger shed in the meantime I had a problem, normally get a frozen rabbit out of the freezer the night before feeding, yet sometimes (winter) its not de-frosted 24hrs later, so got the idea, bigger shed!!!! and a wood burning stove, so after scaning goo

    hi mate, short notice option would be a few cardboard boxes, top's shut with holes in them, filled with sawdust maybe a little hay/straw wont last too long, but easily replacable long term option, either get to a pet shop or wood yard that build stuff, and get a PARROT breeding box, or copy some pictures from here and get a wood yard to put them together for ya, very simple design, if your gonna have 3 ferts a double sleeper is good idea, more than likely they will all sleep together, but they have the option of an extra box if they want
