  1. see its women that are hard as nails us blokes are softies
  2. Ive always been lead to belive about removing the hob from the breeding jill, as he will/could harm/eat the kitts, where I learnt this I cant remember, maybe from my younger days as a kid, or from reading books, but its there, lodged in my brain, TO REMOVE THE HOB, its the advice most people on here, give as advice to newcomers asking what they should do, well, Im about to stop beliving in that, my set-up consists of a ferret court with outside run, plus 3 very large breeding cages, the jills being used are at this moment, seperated in the hutches, one with a litter of five kitts, that are
  3. although I dont agree to those feeding dry food only, I tend to keep dry food down all the time with preganant jills, and later when the kitts are walking, a little milk is added, fresh (24hr fully defrosted) rabbit always, plus a bit of milk and egg once a week, plus a bit of ferret paste now and again
  4. welcome to the site, I'd love to see this pest control you talk of, using a rabbit, what do you catch with them

  6. just use a couple of screw in eye's, against a flat wooden surface, works great the cover slips off like a duvet cover, my missus stitched it shut, as they found their way in within a matter of minutes, and we got worried they may have got entangled in it and suffered from heat stroke
  7. on a private squirrel job couple weeks back, the lady gave me one of those cat cradles that hang on the radiator, as her cat would'ent use it, well got round to fitting it in the ferret court yesterday, and the ferts love it while they was all sunning themselves on it, my other half gave then a lick of her Icepole
  8. theres one on e bay at the moment, just search for quickset longnet,
  9. I do too kay, nothing I would'ent do for a little pu$$y
  10. I still hunt/ferret all year round, but then its pest control, and food for the baby ferts, saying that, on a private squirrel job in an attic, where I had to remove a nest and babies, I did feel bad knocking the little ones on the head, think thats down to how much they looked liked ferts
  11. on the ferret section we see loads of topic's being started on breeding ferrets with wild polecats or weasels or mink etc, Im allways one to ask "why" and not to go down that road but did think, maybe Im missing the point on this cross breeding lark, so thought Id give it a go too I wanted a dog that could not only help catch rabbits, but could "THINK" like a rabbit too so heres my attempt, gonna call the offspring, JACK-RABBITS the only thing that worries me, is the russells a BITCH and the rabbit's a BUCK
  12. as everyone know's, not to copy DVD's, or advertise them on here, prehaps anymore replies to this thread should be via private pm, and not left here

  15. either way, Im sure it would be Illegal, feeding "live" what we do in the privacy of our own lives, and what we openly admit to on an open forum, should in my eye's be just that, kept private If we agree with this video clip, we may as well say, ok everyone, put your clips up of all banned activities, if anything its not showing the hunting forum in a good light, maybe ok on your site fish, but I'd say not here, maybe the other mod's/admin can leave there comments
