  1. your quickest way, will be to do a e bay search, loads of mk1,mk3 and a few mk2's on there with pictures, is it the collar batteries you want?
  2. you can only use their basic public liability insurance, if your doing the job FREE OF CHARGE, otherwise you'll need a small buisness insurance, expect to pay around the £130 mark per year make sure you do a course on the bird identification, as theres only a couple of the gull family that your allowed to cull as a pest species to start off, Id suggest a daily rate of what you'd be willing to work for, rather than trying to price individually
  3. welcome to the site mate, that thunder and kai are nice looking ferts
  4. I'd go for concrete mate, rembering to lay a few drainage pipes and gulley first, if you went for either a 4" or 6" slab, with a few bits of old mesh chucked in before it sets, then not much need for hardcore, its not like your building a brick dewelling on top
  5. no idea, but tell your mate, if he's not going to handle a ferret for a month, he should'ent be keeping them
  6. why should it be locked its not selling, its asking, and other members are doing it right, by pm'ing him, no problem there
  7. christ, I think I'll give up work, and become a stud ferret manager at £50 a throw as suggested, get another cage while they are in breeding season, getting rid of one and getting a jill, aint a good option, as he will rag her silly, and once she's pregnanant he wont stop, so you'll still have to seperate them, and your back to the answer of "but they will be lonely" again, as stated, seperate them, and spend more time with them
  8. 07855906554 thats an orange answerphone, are you sure
  9. yeah, thats why I asked lol, if it is, I couldent find it
  10. as above, is there a number to phone them on?, there website says take no notice of "out of stock" but when clicking on anything, it just says, enter ya e mail address and they get back to ya, but they dont??
  11. all the above answers seem right, but next time you ask, turn the caps lock off
  12. oi, dont start bringing me into it no it aint from the "stubby thing", there are more sections than the ferreting one, and they all have non donators that moan about not being able to sell
  13. just for those that wanted to be kept upto date on what was happening, yesterday I seperated the hobs, being at home of a daytime as I work nights, gives me lots of time watching the ferts, yesterday I noticed one of the snipped hobs, getting a bit too over excited with a kitt, It actually looked like he was trying to mate it, as small as they are, shit Ive got pervey ferts anyway, told my missus, and kept an eye on them throughout the day, arond 8.30pm one of the snipped hobs was in the outside box, that had the jills/castrated hob and kitts in, the castrated hob "buster" looked like he was
  14. Ive got a jill here, that was paired with an intact hob, and like yours, looks fit to burst, but think it could be a phantom pregnancy as she still aint dropped
  15. great pictures, so much prefer courts to cages
  16. Inan, EMPTY YOUR MESSAGE BOX!!!!!!!
  17. as usual Inan, you a bit late Ianb's, opened the boards to everyone
  18. have today taken down the cat hammock, in her bid to find somewhere outside/cool she had got the stiching apart and had placed two kitts INSIDE the fleece, luckerly I spotted what she was up too, and removed the kitts and took down the hammock, have placed one of the large sleeping boxes in the outside run, without the lid, and they are doing fine once again, still 12 kitts, no losses
  19. if you check the rules, it must have a price, or gets deleated
  20. http://www.thehuntinglife.com/forums/index...st&p=447202 think this one might be a better one to join, as it covers you in every aspect of hunting, barring horses, so if your a ferreter, that likes shooting, your covered on both, and everything else basc only covers shooters?, or am I wrong
  21. ok, try giving us a bit more information, ie, colour of parents/grandparents/great,grandparents, were any recessive's bred in along the line or have records not been kept, or you dont know, in which case, you have as much information as we have Ive got a question, how long is this piece of string I have Im going to get abuse now for answering that, so I'll say I'll agree with sue, plus you may get a few other colours
  22. of course he can pat, maybe he can "sleep over" after ferreting on friday
  23. Stubby just an observation mate and i don't want to upset anyone but if you made a proper hole in that nest box and maybe took the lid off they might stay in there. If it was so hot why would they all crowd into one bed, maybe not suitable beds? That hob would have a job getting into a 2 1/2" hole never being dragged in, the female looks an average size 7" around her rib cage which would have made her tummy 10 to 11" before she had her kits As i said just an observation. I presume your referring to a post I left a while back, quoting a two and half inch hole, as I wasent in a position t
