    not training as such but when the pups first learning if you see a bunny enter a warren then the dog shows interest of some kind then give it lots of praise

    its a bit of a gamble the now as you could end up with somebody elses shite but on the other hand you could strike lucky IF you can find another at this time of year

    aye a dog marking can be very obvious such as the ways which have been mentioned such as head down the hole, a lifted paw, laying/sitting by the hole etc but sometimes the sign a dog can give you can be very subtle and you have to learn to read the signs the dogs giving you this is mines anticipating a bolt and she,s often correct, her marking is alot more subtle and is hard to explain to be honest, alot of collie types will mark with the raised paw though my whippets marking is a bit more obvious

    Back fence is down and I,m moving house in three weeks, I,ll have to sort it before I go as well as packing and clearing out sheds ferrets escaped as well when the cage blew over, wind must be strong because the cage is a ton weight, I was at my work so the wife tryed to pick them up but they were not in a good mood , freaked with the wind,she had to get my laddie oot his bed to pick them up

    Had a trip out today with Rake, got a big mahoosive bag of three, still fair enjoyed it even though I was a bit rough, highlight of the day for me was Cass marked a well hidden single hole in some long grass, so ferret in, net down, thump thump, rabbit in the net, ferret oot, job done, if only they were all that easy, happy new year, atb
