Agree with most things you say . . . . . . but not going ferreting because you cannot afford a locator, or suggesting that one does not value ones ferrets if one doesnt use one . . . . . . is bollocks! We are now in the 21st century our predcessors use to work without such technologly but we now have the chance to increase the chance of retriving a lossed ferret with £200 or cash FACT. I feel that if a hunter can afford a computer and internet connection then his priorty is not with his ferrets as I would willing give up my luxuries in life to fund a must have tool in todays modern fer

  5. must try that lamping without a lamp been ferreting without a locator for the last 20 + yrs and never lost a ferret ( touch wood ) admittedly they are handy but not a neccessity especialy if you,re just doing it to get oot the hoose for a few hours rather than for pest control etc etc, and a theory of mines which some may not agree with but I don,t think your ferreting dog becomes as finely tuned as it could be when using a locator

  12. I have one here, a albino, well kindae yellow due to lying in its own pish, a few teeth missing which is a good thing cause its a biting fooker, aboot 9 yrs old I think I was wanting £20 but you can have it for £15 plus postage hahaha
  13. I took the whippet Cass a wee xmas eve jaunt last night, was out for about an hour and a half and she managed two, she done her first spectacular somersault trying to strike the bunny at full whack but missed and got back up, turned it another twice and managed to snatch it up atb

It had been another long boring day at work but the weather had been showing promise for the night ahead and the added bonus of shite tv, x factor and such had made my mind up that a trip out was on the cards, I decided I would take the collie cur Roxy with me tonight because the last time I had visited this particular piece of ground I had to make a sharp exit and I thought it much better to have the more experienced wiley dog with me rather than the young whippet.
