    I know they use bengalese for Gouldian finches mate not sure about canarys though but don,t see why not, personaly I would rather have the canary hens rearing as using foster parents may create a whole new set of problems imo, also the bengalese should be hatching and rearing there own young without any problems, maybe a husbandry issue or maybe they,re just past it

    Not sure about that reply mate, small pasture would probably mean fences, ditches etc so would a do or die type suit yes mate just because its 100% prey orientated doesnt mean it has to be as thick as feck lol

    PREY DRIVE, I,ve been thinking about this subject a bit more recently, its been mentioned a few times recently, paticularly in the whippet threads about the amount of prey drive in whippets and if its detrimental and undesirable, however I,ve also read a few comments stating " If the dog isn,t giving 110% it won,t have a place in the kennel " so whats it to be ? do or die or a more measured self preserving type animal atb ps, not just in whippets but any type

    I,ve been to the canarys a couple of times and theres a type of dog over there ( can,t remember the name ) but I did wonder if you could make a decent lurcher using this breed, would certainly have excellent feet if they can deal with the volcanic rock
