    Another way of looking at it is those members who keep banging on about how effective their super mustelids are compared to bog standard ferrets have been for the most part, conspicuous by their absence in the 'ferreting report' section on here. If they offered that much over a standard ferret, the reports section should be full of threads containing bigger than usual bags.. I've not noticed any this season.. I,m going to get a couple of eu,s for the coming season and wait till you see my posts, I,ll have bigger bags than Steve the fish hahaha

    doesn,t a young running dog learn from older dogs anyway without the use of couples, absolutely no point in coupling whatsoever imo, and cruel as far as I can see, as rabbiting man said ( especialy in the second pic ) the older dog looks well pissed off my point is if the man wishes to couple his dog and pup thats his busines, I have never done it, but that does not mean to say it cannot be done, my young dog 2 year old has never run with an other dog, at any time all is his capabilities, and can hunt hunt a field for his quarry and carry back, if it is possible, it is down to the indiv

    I don't go much to shows but I can't agree with you at all about this. First I don't see that the standard of working lurchers has fallen much. I've kept lurchers for almost 40 years and the standard has always been variable. There have always been poor workers and it's always been necessary to look around a bit to find a good working litter. Secondly, people who want good working lurchers won't book a pup from a non working, show bred litter anyway (unless they're a bit thick). If working dog people only buy their pups from working litters the show craze will have no effect at all. There ar
