    Every year people get attacked by deer and cattle, but in nearly every instance the person was walking a dog. It is usually the dog that is at issue, and nothing to do with the person. What you have to remember is that generally you are the most important thing that has happened to that animal all week and that is why they are interested in you. A water pistol on the nose usually dies the trick with bullocks!!

    in the early days i do believe having read it somewhere cci made all the17hmr rounds as they were the only people with the kit to do it, Correct. They are all made in the same factory. strange that all them threads as to which is best I know its funny. I have never found a difference between any of the ballistic tips. I use hornady red/blue tip, and my mate uses remingtons. We both interchange with no shift of zero if either one of us runs out. Maybe though that is testimony of the CZ 452 varmint.     I have caught hares in long nets (used as gate nets) and tried relocating them to areas that used to hold hares and now don't. There are two problems I came across; Firstly, the hare seems quite a fickle animal, and I have lost several that appear to die upon capture for no apparent reason, but I suspect heart attack. Secondly, the reason a piece of land that used to hold hares and now doesn't, needs to be established for the re-population to succeed.     Sorry iam a bit late picking up on this thread but i have been away.Matt its not a case of Quoting chapter and verse its a case of the law an act is law laid down by parliment not guidelines, if you can disreguard the law in the heat of the moment then you shouldnt be able to own any kind of firearm, thats how murder happens. i fully agree that out of control dogs need to be delt with, farmers and gamekeeps need to protect their livelihoods. but at the same time need to protect themselves from the possible conciquences of shooting a dog. i have had a run in with a local farmer who thought my
