  1. I hope it does get more girls out playing sports, the shit young girls seem to put up with these days with social media, having to look a certain way, stupid pouting pictures, the need to be liked by strangers, the negativity of it all is madness... f**k as a parent to a teenage girl and a girl in her 20s, guidance is tricky alot of the time .. us blokes aren't built to understand woman at the best of times, but chuck in all the new pressures of the social media world and parenting girls can be tricky.... so I recognise the agenda, I see what is happening... but I can't help feeling this time
  2. If you can't be proud of the good shit we do then there's something wrong imo... That first goal was some finish to be fair...
  3. Fair play to them, I'll be honest and say I struggle with the standard a bit, but I'd be proud as punch if one of my girls had just one the Euros at Wembley...
  4. I dont disagree that we are overpopulated, I've said about the huge housing estates around here and a new town built on the edge of Exeter to house people from other citys councils overspill... its plain to see that the land is being ruined, fields I walked as a 13 year old with a ferret and dog now have a thousand houses on them and a f**k off great tescos... in other areas I'm sure it is far worse... if you look globally what we do as a species is ruin and destroy in the main...look at the forests in South America... can't remember stats but I think its a football pitch size cut down every h

Thats it mate... we get a lot stay with us from London (a group of 4 girls now from East London) and they all comment on the local roads, we are only 4 mile or so out of Exeter, but as you know that's enough to be on country lanes... obviously some are just not used to reversing anymore than into a space or around a corner, so 100 yards backwards when the hedge is touching both sides and the reversing alarm is screaming at them is a bit daunting! lol I know I'm in trouble as soon as they undo their seatbelt and look over their shoulder... use your mirrors!! lol

We just had guests leave from Liverpool, they said they shit themselves every time they came up the 1 track hill to ours that they would meet someone and have to reverse up/down the hill (it's tight!).. I had to pull a grockle up there a couple of years back as he burnt his clutch out coming up it, pulled him to ours and Mrs took the family in the house made them a cuppa etc whilst they waited for RAC, the bloke said to me in the yard "how do you reverse up that hill like that?" I can't get up there forwards"Lol In the summer you seem to spend more time going backwards than forwards as it
  12. Thats it mate... we all know the governments and decision makers/money men decide our fates, dictate our lives and skim a f**k load off the top for the privilege... it's the pyramid type system we have built over thousands of years.. we are the pawns in the game, you just got to make the most of your time and enjoy what you can... But inflatable planes and holograms for 911, lizard people, military coups at Buckingham palace, the White hats, The Dragon family... it's all a bit much for me... I'll be accused of being a sheep and "OPEN YOUR f***ing EYES!".... But Nah!

It's a lot quieter after the school holidays mate, the sea temperature is at its heighest at that time of year so real comfortable swimming in the sea... you normally get warm days and you aren't in the crowds... some of the villages get swamped with tourists and lose their appeal a little, it goes back to being old Devon and Cornwall a little more once the hoards of tourists are gone... Let me know if your heading down anytime, I'll treat you to a cuppa on the way through...

You get the weather right down there there aren't any better beaches in the world imo... there are some stunning coves to explore around there mate... West Coast of Scotland is probably more dramatic, absolutely love that place but sitting on the beach in drizzle every day is wearing!! lol Enjoy your break down here with us inbreds mate...??

  18. As a species we are all complicit, I recognise that, big industry will produce millions times more but we purchase the products produced to live the privileged lives we do...we will all keep buying oil and gas as long as we can, electric vehicles is a scam that will never fully materialise our reliance on fossil fuels will out live us and our kids... but that is part of it imo...we are a pretty dirty, wasteful bunch us humans...no way do we want to go back to tribe type living, only using what we need, hunter forager type.. we want car, a TV, a holiday etc etc...we are all the same, no shame
  19. I'd say our output of pollutants, whether that's industrial or vehicle emissions, waste into seas/landfills, human waste into rivers etc, gases produced, added to our use of natural resources ie. Deforestation, oil consumption/extraction etc etc..Will no doubt have a far bigger impact on the earth we live on, im not a great believer in us majorly contributing to global warming, as said it is a continual cycle...but as a species there is little doubt our advanced brain that allows us to live the way we do has terrible effects on our world.... clean energies done well can only be a good thing su
  20. Everyone questions mate, we all know nothing is black and white, or how we are fed by the MSM is a true account of facts.. but as you say you've got to stay somewhere in the realms of reality or at least believability...
