Nice night with Geth and his lad Oliver on the kayaks... stayed out until dark, had a couple of nice bream... tough paddle in so got some fitness in as well.. f****d now! Lol

To be honest mate there is a few on here and a few gone who wrote loads of hunting posts, myself included, but I don't hardly ever now..the odd ferreting post with the kids, but never put lamping posts up now and not much about the dogs... There are a few twats who come and go and talk shit and personally I can't be assed half the time to write them anymore.... I think thats the same for a lot of lads who've been on here a while...only so much you can write really...

f**k bet you were roasting mate! I've been re sheeting a sports hall, its been unbearable, been at this game over 25 years and I honestly can't ever remember heat like this... got back on the tools for the summer as we are stacked out and struggling with labour, I've loved it to be honest.... but looking forward to a bit of cooler weather now!

Anything "floated into the area" is eaten up by defenders at top level mate, the old "hang it up to the back stick" has long gone...like you say the ball is whipped in at such speed of they get it right its as likely to come off a defender under pressure and find the net... I think the balls are different now also to aid the amount of movement in the air, hence making difficulties for defenders and keepers... I only watched the womans final, as I've said a few times I have no real interest in it, but was obviosy pleased they won and think it is a positive thing for young girls, they are

I set myself to get hard at till 50 then make a decision on what me and the Mrs want to do... I've never minded working to be honest, I like the Craic and social its given me for the last 25 years or so... loads of lifelong friends who were apprentices for us and now run their own firms... I like that a lot.. But I'm 46 this year, not old I know, but when you are hard at it from 16, and set up on my own at 19 it takes its toll....basically I feel tired more often now!! Started wotk at 5-30am yesterday, its been a killer this week on the roof... finished at 1pm and buggered off to the beach .. Me and my brother treated ourselves to a jet ski a while back, business expense as a safety craft if doing dock yard work (you know the score...?)... So we went full kit up, barbie, fishing gear, canopy.. even.got an inflatable sofa for the girls.....we were in for the long haul... lol Geth (white van man) was 2 beaches down on the kayaks with his lad (oliver), we flipped down and took Oliver for a spin... then he started catching bass... he is a proper little

Made this out of veg from the garden, bean and tomato salad, made a balsamic dressing, was really nice... Took it up to the bbq last night and it was blown away by their offerings....felt a bit inadequate in rhe end..lol
