So we have a great performance against Chisora (FFS!!), 3 fights with Wilder and the most boring fight ever against Klitcho... anymore to add to the greatest evers resume?

OK, from what I've seen he has changed his style in the last 2 Wilder fights to be more aggressive and throw his weight, before that he was flicking out punches and moving in circles, backwards mainly around the ring... I don't see great footwork in that personally... credit where its due he changed his style and got on top/bullied Wilder and was a convincing winner...he was on the front foot more than I've seen in the past... a good adaption to his style to beat an absolutely awful boxer who only weapon is a huge looping right hand (which put fury down more times than he would've liked)...

So we all agree it is Furys size that is the deciding factor and not his skill set? Until Wilder 2 he spent more time going backwards than forwards, but we are judging him now on the 2 wins against Wilder and that's what sets him as the best ever? f**k me its mad on here sometimes!! Lol

Yeah thats it Young, cheers.. had something wrong with him didnt he after the fight? and like you say retired... Anyway his record and calibre of fighters on it is miles above any of the current crop, surely there is no argument there?

In his first stint he fought in probably the best era in the heavies and other than All beat the lot, Frazier, Norton, Lyle.. there is no shame in losing to Ali, is there? He fought and beat Frazier twice, most would have Frazier in there top 10 of all time imo... He lost to Holyfield when he was over 40, and to Morrison, who was well respected at the time (but that fight was shit!)... I can't remember who he lost to after the Frazier fight... but I think Shannon Briggs was his last fight... so in his prime he lost to Ali and one other... Like I say we all see things diffe

I dont think I do mate, just how I see it, we all have opinions on boxers and the old "he will beat him because....." often comes unravelled during the fight... Fury is certainly the trickiest man and would be favourite in any of the fights... but I still think if Joshua went back to his original style and got into Fury he could cause him problems.... just need the fight to happen!! Lol

Couldn't get into the womans at all, but that last Katy Taylor fight was a great scrap.. Hope Marshall sparks Shields though, she comes over as a right twat...lol

OK mate... Awful? He was heavyweight champion twice in 2 separate eras, far better eras than today for sure.. olympic champion... I don't know his record but I'm.sure he fought do7ble the amount of times more than any of the current crop.. . Over 70 fights for sure and only lost a handful... he fought the very best in his era.. he wasn't beautiful to watch I agree, but for me he is leagues above Wilder...

Not sure what you mean mate... Foreman is rightly considered one of the best..so where is the comparison? I get you can't predict era to era results, but Wilder would figure anywhere near the best of the past in my opinion

Maybe "for a man of his size" it is mate.. but his biggest asset is his sheer size and strength, he wears fighters down by leaning on them for large parts of the fight, he's not the biggest puncher and for me went backwards flicking out punches too much... he did change for the 2nd 2 Wilder fights and plant his feet more and throw.. but Wilder is terrible... I'm not anti Fury, not at all... I just know that if he was the same size as Usyk you would then see who the beat technician is... its not Furys fault hes massive and he uses that to his advantage...its just not my type of fighter...

Mate I'm not calling out Sandy tbh, he offered me a good turn a while back and a couple of lads who are good mates of mine have met him and said he is a good sort... so I'll judge the bloke on that rather than politics I perhaps don't agree with... but there is no way you can compare Devon or the few large towns/Cities here with any of the major towns/Cities across the Midlands, South East or North...it's like chalk and cheese

Surely for any boxing fan, whether you've stepped in a gym/ring or just watched it for long enough, we must all recognise this is a really poor era in the heavies, it has been for a long time tbh. I can't even consider Fury, Wilder or Joshua as all time greats, and I think in the future we will all realise that (if you can't now). Fury is just massive, that is his biggest asset, I can't see the "silky skills" that others can, he can move backwards pretty well for a big lump lol, and at least threw his weight more recently.. but style wise he just doesn't really do it for me...

Um... I'm sorry Sandy but I don't think we can really compare Devon to a lot of the South East or Midlands, or any of the major towns in the North of the country... Your from Luton and it's a million miles away from Exeter, Plymouth or Barnstaple... has Devon changed considerably , yes absolutely, is it all for the good...no way... Exeter is nothing like the town it was 25 years ago, and the outskirts are growing rapidly housing thousands of people from other areas, all different race, colour and religions but the crux is the town and infrastructure can't cope, I've said before the first town
