    Cheers mate! Measured him today just over 15 1/2 won't stop growing! Seen that today mate when I was looking over his ped on the bull side! Wouldn't be an issue at all mate, how's ur pups going? the 3 that went to working homes coming on well. I'm very happy with how bitch is acting. Great little character, into everything. Il try get recent pic up. She is just under 18" now

    You couldn't fault that pup, he's a cracker, nice bit of length in the body. Who knows, if that pup of mine turns out a good bitch and likewise with that dog of yours. If I have the need of a bigger dog in future. He'd be a good choice for stud. Some of the same blood top and bottom of the p.b.t breeding. Hope he does all you ask of him

    I know the litter your on about. Should be serious animals. v.well bred. Hope the pup works out for you I've a pup from that litter you lads are on about great to see genuine bull blood being put out in the field lads. they should give great sport if they live up to the blood behind them. Hope they work out for yous lads.

    I see the point your making and agree about the terrier or saluki being bred to kill more so than interact but as for a well bred pit bull, I believe a dog that has good interaction skills with his conditioner or handler would be a much easier dog to work with to get in shape and even respond to his handler in the heat of battle under very strenuous conditions. through selective breeding I believe good interaction skills are fairly common in the breed. In my very limited experience with these fine animals I've found the few I was around to be very trainable. Also as a breed they seem to be a

    I know it's a light hearted topic but for what it's worth.. Focus on what is at the end of your lead. I imagine The owners or fanciers of the dogs of old were not exempt from ego, pride and lies, just like us.     the ground I mostly hunt on ( by design) what you are talking about happens on the regular, weather I mean it or not. And to be honest it's worked in my favour in regards to recall from what I can tell. Eg.. I'm walking in thick scrub and woods, dog easily looses sight of me or vise versa if I'm not paying attention. I could be focused on a chase with the older dogs. Anyway... I try see this as a positive situation with a running dog pup. Pup has maybe got a little adventuress and gone his own way and lost sight of me and dogs, as I imagine happens in the wild..pup feels a little anxiety,

    I have no experience of g.s.d / Belgium Shepherd or mallinios x greyhound but I imagine if you were totally against bull x grey. I would think they fit the bill for what I think your after. In their pure form that are pretty fearless (not game) but still a rough, Hardy animal. Very intelligent, trainable and crazy prey drive.good feet. And I'm sure you would have many a good dog to choose from in states for a breeding

    I know you'll do him right sully. I'm happy with the two working homes pups went to. I gifted one to a friend as a companion dog. He thought he succeeded in breaking it to his chickens... He didn't lol
