    me and the wife went out to do some shopping, on the way I saw a deer knocked down at side of road and said if it was still there when we came back I would get it for the dogs. after about 3 hrs on our way back it was still there so I picked it up. as I used to be a slaughter man I know how to dress out a animal and look for any thing wrong with it if I wanted to eat the animal my self. what I want to ask you lads or lasses with deer I know you take the guts out as quick as you can and I don't know the reason why this is done . so what I want to ask is the carcase looked ok to me so with the g
