  1. I'm only teasing mate lol, glad to hear it. I've got some good mates up the valleys, I'm only a few miles down the road myself
  2. Yeah, there's a thing, it's not exactly an affluent part of the country, or even the world , so how the f**k can they afford the majority of vehicles they drive!? , well off parents I expect
  3. did it say survivors will be shot again underneath Lol, don't know how legal it is or isn't, but there's more than a couple of, let's say 'lagally couldn't give a f**k' farmers round our way!!
  4. was there a deer head on the wall by any chance I'll be up there in the next few days, I'll keep a look out when I'm wandering the mountains in a drunken haze just north of 'the pandy'!
  5. LOL Yeah, I go up to visit him and his family every few weeks and it invariably ends up with a few of us getting wrecked on some type of witches brew! , cracking people, good bunch of lads up that way
  6. Nothing wrong with the valley lads , as long as you don't live anywhere near the valleys! , just teasing lads lol, one of my best mates lives up that way Next time that Ideation is over I'm pissing in his tea. that just made me spit my tea down my front!! :D

  8. Does the area beginning with a v end in y? If so, I know exactly where you mean! Vasey ? verywelshy Vyrnwy Ok, that's a lake, but it's in wales!

  11. Have to say mind, after my warning to 'f**k OFF BACK TO WALES!!' their words , not mine, I did, and didn't go back to that particular ground for a while. Went back that way two nights later though, and regularly-ish for many years, no bother if you were careful, the things you do when you're young eh?
  12. I think he heard somebody coughing some phlegm up and he thought they were speaking Welsh. L o l, could be the case. Could be 'he' got on thl and had a look at some of the more regular welsh 'posters' and thought we all lived in the same village, with wales being so small l o l, and gave a couple of warnings so that whoever he gave the warnings to would tell 'everyone else' in the same pub!
  13. I think it 'might' be the fact that a lot of welsh lads travel across the 'severn' to exercise their dogs on some rather abundantly wildlife friendly land, and the people that reside in these areas are pretty pissed off with it. I was warned off many years ago by some rather unfriendly locals around those counties, about 84ish I think. I know a few lads that go to these areas now, and they aren't the sharpest. A lot of the time people bring misfortune on themselves.
  14. As in the thread about being careful on fb etc, the internet 'slippery slope', we're all doomed
  15. I Wouldn't want it smarter than me I think you'd be pretty safe with that amount of saluki in it lol. On a serious note though, and I know it's not what you specifically asked, but I had a lurcher bitch about 30 years ago with only a small amount of saluki in both parents, and she ended up very saluki like, never again, definitely not my type of dog I had a saluki/grey/whippet as my first Lurcher ,and yes it was a headache. But like the look of the saluki whippet x more than a saluki grey type. Someone posted not long back with a pic of a red and white dog next to a white gate,, t

  18. The o p asked if anyone had dogs where 'both' parents are sal x whip, some nice dogs here anyway
  19. Is that really a human 'hare' paulus, or something else we should know about?
  20. A mate had a litter brother and sister bred exactly as you say, about 10-12 years ago. Great dogs on all quarry, dog was very useful on deer, and also cracking looking dogs. Haven't been in contact for a few years, but he still has them as far as I'm aware
  21. Got to say the internet is definitely one of the main reasons to lurcher and terrierwork's demise. Like it or not, it is a fact.
  22. There is, and never should be any cost, do NOT leave any weak, young , susceptible child, person, alone in the vicinity of any dog, especially a powerful/'hot' type of dog. I get what you're saying. I've been around a few different, and sometimes, dogs of a 'quick' nature, for many years, and 'NEVER' would I trust them implicitly
  23. Better that though than the dog 'potentially' ripping into some toddler when it's new owner hasn't got a clue and can't control the f****r. Not saying it would happen, but a lot of people haven't got a clue about dogs in general, especially how quickly any dog can go 'into' one in a split second, and with any powerful type of dog the resulting damage is going to be bad. A neighbour of mine invited us in to see their new baby. She was gibbbering about her GSD 'guarding' the baby. Sure enough it was pacing around the pram looking alert. I put 2 and 2 together and said the dog was attract
