Plenty on here steaming before they log on. Give it time, you'll catch on ?

What you've said here mate, is what I did a couple of years ago. Loved the look and feel of the 100kt when I shouldered a few rifles in a couple of rfd's fairly local to me. Then borrowed a mate's 100kt .177 for a couple of weekends, scoped up and with bipod fitted, well, it just didn't feel right at all, for me. Bipod off, still not right. Back to rfd and they had a couple of 110's in. Shouldered one and had a good look etc, ordered one and paid deposit on the spot. Felt superb, practically perfect, for me, in every department, length, weight, balance, the lot. If these 110k's balance is

Regarding the mag loading, I found that after a few goes I didn't even give it a second thought, and no more hassle than loading some underlevers

Nice write up phil. Loved the 110 I had, but was put off with power dropping from 11.6 to 9.6, twice in the space of a month. However, things now look to have been sorted regarding those issues, and I'm actually itching to shoulder one of these new 110k's. If it's as good as the original, but with better balance etc, I could see me getting myself a new xmas pressie lol

Agree with you again. My lad has a 3/4 bred by 'merlin' from 'that breeder' lol, and he's put a few pics of him on here, a while back mind. He's kennelled, but when he has him in the house he's great with my 2 grandaughters who are 5 and 3, calm, not scatty or needy in the slightest, doesn't stress out over f**k all, is fine if he needs the odd telling off out in field etc and is turning into a decent worker, this is only his second season. On the whole, he couldn't be happier with him
-
Agree with you mate. I think a 3/4 grey 1/4 collie be perfect for him. Like you say, it won't need bags of stamina etc, and that bit of exta greyhound should make it easier to live with, plus help it catch more of what it does run when he goes for a walk/mooch. Again, like you've said, this topic has been covered a fair old amount of times, and I do actually like some of these reverse 3/4 breds, but alot of them just aren't fast enough. And I've said before, on almost all the places me and my lad go, unless you've got a very fast dog you'll be going home empty handed. Alot of the rabbits

Yep, or it will be a sequel lol

Just spat a mouthful of my bacon sandwhich out reading this!! LMAO ? ?
-
Yes, read that a couple of years ago, and I mentioned that the crusaders brought salukis back with them in a thread started by sandymere I think, or a thread in which he was posting? Like you say skycat, dan belkin must've been an incredibly astute fella
-
Not really disagreeing with you here, yes, the moors , from north africa, morocco, libya etc, occupied spain, but it would've been the sloughi, not the saluki, that they took with them. And it's the sloughi , more than, the saluki that is mainly responsible in the creation of the galgo
-
Yeah, after I asked you what it was, it came to me while I made myself a cup of tea lol. Couldn't really remember the last time I saw one lol. Cracking job fella ?
-
Hell of a transformation that fella ?. What make is it?
-
Yes the amount you need to feed is surprisngly small. And yes, expensive, this is the last week he'll be on it
-
Find a way that suits you and your family mate. Everyone will have their own way of feeding and you'll get get 20 different answers. Feeding raw, whatever the source, aint practical for some but is for others. At the moment my pup, six months old, is on a mix of acana wholeprey, and lamb and chicken mince, beef or tripe, and the odd carcass and bones etc every couple of days. After tuesday he'll be on 100% raw. Do what's best for your circumstances mate ?

Or better still, actually be shown how to do it ? -
Same here, love those little 30's, and that new 110k looks right up my street. Had the 110 ST, and loved it, but had to send it back with losing power twice within 6 weeks, put me right off. But have been told that those issues have been cleared up with the new models. Not had an ultra, and was thinking of getting one, or a scorpion, was looking at them in one of my local rfd's a couple of weeks ago. But now these 110k's are on the way, I'd rather one of those. See how they are for reliability etc for a while, then have a good look ?

As some of you lads have already said, I was really enjoying this thread. I hardly ever venture into the terrier section on this site, but this was a cracking thread. Shame if it gets ruined by a couple of nerks
-
Which one mate, the 30s or the 110k, or like me, both? Lol
-
Just read this thread, and he sounds similar to my old dog. Long dead now, but he used to take a while to catch the majority of his rabbits as well, even though he was on em in seconds. Sort of like he wasn't that interested. Hares and deer, different story, caught very quickly once he was on them. I've said about this dog before on here, and dogs certainly do have a preference as to what they really want to catch or not. Perhaps he was like my old dog, rabbits weren't really his thing
