  10. Yep, I get you mate. But, look back, you are/were a miltary man. Look at the difference the training you did 20ish years ago, to what they did even just 40 years ago. World of difference, and a lot safer, and just as, or more, productive.
  11. That's part of the problem mate, your friends/associates egging you you on to lift heavier, big mistake. But, I'll say it again, and have a think about it, conventional squatting is NOT a really safe exercise, for a few reasons, physiologically and kinetically.
  12. No, you're not. Like I said, it's an unnatural position.
  13. I mean the holding of the bar on your upper back/traps. It's not a natural position, especially won't do your lower back any favours.
  14. Leg press, in my case, gave me bigger and better leg developement than squats. Plus, conventional squatting is an unnatural position for the body to be in.
  15. Could well be mate. I just find it more than interesting that beddies, and the breeds I mentioned, are a similar size, have similar coats, are good in water, and have great noses. I know otterhounds have some of those characteristics, but they are much bigger, and 3 times the weight of a beddy, but the other breeds are all very similar in size, coat, colour etc to beddies. I might be way off the mark, but it's an interesting theory. ?
  16. Lol no, I don't, ........ aah yeah, I do actually, now you mention it! Lol ?
  17. It was only pool he could beat me at lol. After about the age of 7, me, 10, him, he wouldn't risk a confrontation ?. Thinking back, about that age was the last time we even had a fairly heated argument ?
  18. Maybe he'd had a few drinks before the exhibition?
