  1. Same here. They obviously have plenty of enthusiasts, just going from the posts on here. But I was put off them, partly by my ex brother in law's dogs a 1st x beddy x whip/grey and a 1st x beddy/grey. Great in the daytime ferreting/mooching, great noses on em, but apart from that they were, well, frustratingly headstrong, and apt to follow the scent of anything they missed on the lamp, for f***ing ages! Lol. They did have good coats though the beddy x whip/grey having the best coat of any beddy cross I've seen. Was a tight broken coat that was properly waterproof. He was a moody little f****
  2. Yep, these days it all seems to be finding the 'right sort' of dogs, whatever the breeding. ?
  3. Not a dig at you personally mate, but when this type of lurcher is mentioned on here, tons of posts like yours will be said, or very similar, 'make good little rabbit dog, or nice little bunny basher/lamper', etc. Facts are, many of these types can be extremely useful on all quarry, fur and feather. A couple of the better dogs I've owned have been exactly this type, grey/collie/whippet, no other blood, and took all sorts of quarry day and night. Seen same types owned by others do the same. Bear in mind though, no red deer were taken with them though lol. Might possibly be a case of som
  4. Whstever it is, it'll have cumin and coriander in it ?
  5. Not really much help with the jars/amounts etc, here really mate, BUT, as you get used to making these curries, you'll find yourself relying not so much by 'amounts' but you'll go more by eye and 'feel'
  6. Perhaps I read your earlier posts wrong?it has been known lol
  7. No more than what stiffy dishes out, especially to me. No need to blame the heat blacky ? The last few months, in several of his posts, on a few threads, I'd even go so far as to say he was being obtusive, just for the sake of obtusiveness. ??
  8. The first two posts, you are inferring that taking fallow bucks is very hard to do, or seldom done, and your own particular dogs struggled a lot with them. Your last post really doesn't need an answer, as you know.
  9. Has anyone said fallow are easy?
  10. ? no need to be obtuse. ........... ?? All yours mate, you have ffp scopes and more expeience with them ?
  11. Lol, f***ing hell stiffy, you've got to be the biggest skeptic on this entire site lol ?
  12. Ffp= first focal plane, sfp = second focal plane. Look em up mate, some very useful info ? Sorry villaman, not answering for you, just helping the guy out with a bit of info ?
  13. She got a wedding ring on. Thou shalt not covet another man's grouse, spouse, buzzard, something like that. Will be tapping a few birch trees this spring. ?

    AJ vs Pulev

Yeah, saw eddie hearn talking about that earlier. Fury doesn't 'really' have to fight wilder again, and how much, if it can be done, are they going to offer usyk to step aside? I won't hold my breath though lol.
  15. Enjoyed those vids mate. Made me look back to a couple of my better dogs years ago. Made me a tad nostalgic, and more than a little sad, to be honest.

Wilder's punch power has been 'elevated' because he's fought no-one with a top class chin. 90% of all his fights have been against, to use morton's favourite word, DROSS. Fury is 'probably' his best opponent, and we've all seen him dropped quite a few times, by four different fighters, so how can wilder's punch power be accurately assessed to be the hardest?
  17. Kin el, chill out ronnie, you'll have someone's eye out!! Lol

    AJ vs Pulev

Lol the figures I quoted were just numbers I plucked from my memory of their boring, shit heavyweight contest sid lol ? But I was sort of right, klitschko didn't want to throw enough, and fury was too busy going backwards to throw enough lol ?
  19. Yeah, some of the 'finer' detailed rules are over my head. Quite agree with you about o'sullivan.
  20. Watching as we text chart, he's looking more comfortable than he was last week.
  21. Yeah, I'd also like to pont out that I've seen a few roe deer, that I was convinced at the time, that no dog would catch. Speed and agility of them was jaw dropping.
  22. Seen some very large, strong fallow bucks around, which were also surprisingly very fast. And I'd say yes, they would be harder to catch than 'some' undernourished hill red stags.

Not sure on usyk mate. I know it's still relatively early days for him yet, as a heavyweight, and I do rate him. But so far he's not really impressed me. Aj and fury, well, still can't really see it happening. And what I suppose I really mean regarding usyk, is there's a few 'ifs' still to be answered. ?
