  1. You could be right ? Your money on ronnie today charts? I'd have a few quid on him myself, but he's 8/11 to win, and 11/8 to win in under 13 frames lol.
  2. Yeah I get what you're saying, but I think this last couple of years, the gap between the more well known names and those lower ranked, is closing quite a bit.
  3. Hey charts, wo's this jordan brown? I can't recall even hearing about him. I can see maguire isn't playing his best, but this jordan brown looks very useful.
  4. When I was growing up we could only dream of using a decimal converter, and that was if we even knew what one was! ?
  5. Release the hounds, smithers ?
  6. I can barely rewire a plug ?. Anything like what you've done there mate is WAAAY over my head!! Can make the frames of a three piece suite in under 15 mins, but anything 'electrical' or 'new tech' is way beyond me! ??
  7. Very good that mate. For some reason I had the idea those units would be bigger than that. It takes up no room, nice. Good luck with it all ?
  8. Did you do the rspb birdwatch this year mate?
  9. You found a suitable bitch for him yet mate?
  10. Can't answer that for you really mate. But it would save a lot of unnecessary bother and hassle, not to mention dealing with timewasters and 'undesirables' lol. I know you and a few fellas on here own, and are happy with your beddy/whippets, but for me, the pure whippet is the better dog, again, for me ?
  11. All the whippets I've owned, and the ones I didn't own, would enter the thickest of cover/brambles without a second thought. All this 'fragile, no guts, shit feet, no drive' etc etc is a load of shite, spouted mainly by people that have never even seen a whippet work, let alone own one. ? Oh yeah, they also have a very good nose.
  12. I'm not after any dog at moment. Was just looking through the ads, just to see what litters were about. ?
  13. Just saying mate, if you say that's who the dog was named after, I'll take your word for it. I wouldn't know ?
  14. Wasn't the dog 'the hackett white' mate, or bred down from it?
  15. Will his debut this saturday be on a televised event?
  16. Seen a clip of him a few months ago gnash. Certainly got a fair amount of speed about him, for a strongly built heavyweight.
  17. The steady increase in popularity of the whippet, since the ban, has seen the prices asked for them increase year on year. £600 has been about the average asking price for a kc pup for the last 5-6 years, with some pups advertised at anywhere up to £1000. But this last year the prices have gone mental. Was scouring some whippet ads a couple of weeks back, had to shake my head in confusion/disbelief. Most litters going for anywhere between £1200 and £3000 per pup, average price about £2000-£2500!! Anyway, £600 aint a bad price these days lol ?
  18. @ snoopdog and kalibrgun, only messing and being a tad facetious lol. That dog is an absolute belter, and one of only a few coursing breds I would've actually considered having a pup from, if I was into coursing. Strong, racy and always looked in great shape. Must've been great to own an animal like that. ?.
  19. How much bull blood in him mate? ?
  20. He probably got another inch to go yet mr wilkes. Very nice dog ?
  21. Yes mate. Plenty of really good russell and 'russell types' around then. And plenty of work for em all.
  22. The mate I mentioned with the whip/grey x russell, a couple of weeks back, owned a similar 'sealyham' type russell bitch about 40 years ago. Got the bitch from trealaw or treherbert. Cracking bitch.
