  1. Looks a belter, Arry, especially with the beetroot, I love it.
  2. Yes clipping their nails back every few weeks is pretty normal, but it doesn't mean they have week/poor feet, which is what most people on this site say. And at least 95% of those people have NEVER owned, let alone worked a whippet.
  3. That'll bring MANY replies. I've NEVER seen a whippet with poor feet, but if you listen to 90% of people on this site, whippets have some of, or, the worst feet of any running dog! Absolute BULLSHIT!! And, I'd just like to add, I've owned 4 kc reg whippets, a pure whippet that wasn't registered, and a few lurchers with a fair amount of whippet in them. None of them had poor/weak feet.
  4. We've got two different air fryers, mate, sausages are still better grilled or fried. Edited to say, not just sausages, but a fair few things. The mrs uses them, I still haven't used either one of them.
  5. Just read your other post, totally agree with you.
  6. Get on to em, mate. I enjoy reading about your journey into all this self sufficiency. And it would be easier to follow, if it was left where you started it.
  7. Only ever seen one, at a lurcher show in south wales, 1983. 3/4 grey 1/4 lab, smooth blue bitch. Very nice looking bitch, both Racy and sturdy. Just realised, thread is supposed to be first x lab/grey. Never mind, the bitch I seen many many moons ago was a cracker. Lol.
  8. You think I don't know book writer's 'exaggerations' lol?! Just asking for some good book recommendations, simple. I've never been to a rat killing pit/contest, or the old dog fighting contests, but I like reading about it. Just fancy reading some books about the countryside and poaching etc, that I've not read before. BTW, juke, I'm not having a dig at you, and understand what you're saying. Just fancy reading some good countryside/poaching books that have good/very good reviews.
  9. Anyone else got any good book recommendations. Starting to get a few fieldsports etc books together. Anyway, 17 1/2 years ain't too bad to resurrect a thread!
  10. Watched that last night, G. I think this lad will knock whyte out within three rounds. Just changed my mind. Itauma to beat whyte within two rounds.
  11. And for anyone that's interested, Mark brick ain't the big baldy whippet guy covered in tats. That dubious distinction goes to Carl williams, with his bowline whippets etc. And the only thing big about the little twat, is his stupid fat head.
  12. You tried your best for about 3 years, charts. Fair play to you, anyone else would've 'jibbed' after a few weeks. Time to cut the apron strings, eh?!
  13. The time is nigh, charts, ever drawing nearer.
  14. Just been listening to Buck. Had a listen to them when you mentioned them a while back, excellent band.
  15. Don't do that, mate. Just don't read his posts. There are a few on here that are far worse than mitre, for ruining threads.
  16. FFS, chuckles!! Stop it, you barmy twat!!
  17. I've only got to see the word 'mitre' at the heading of any reply and I start chuckling before I've read his reply!! Lol
  18. No, charts, buck's sire was razzmatazz.
  19. f****n pillock!! You actually take these threads pretty seriously!!
  20. Kin el, scotty, I Darent put a pic up of my calves, they'd all be in a massive meltdown!! And that, is the truth m'lud!!
  21. My mate used to closely inspect every piece of pork scratching in the packet, before he'd eat one. I'd eat the ones with hairs on. Doesn't bother me in the slightest, nor the fat and salt.
  22. I was being a tad facetious lol
  23. Ain't you worried about the salt and fat in pork scratchings?!
