Off tomorrow to Fort William to get ready for Ben Nevis walk on saturday. Hope the weather holds and i can get some photo's of the day. Cheers to all that gave me info' and tips for the trip. They dont get off my property, none of my cats do. I have inverted fencing around the top of the fence all around the garden. They have a 12ft pen and run they go in if its fine too. I just googled BSH cats and it says that weights range between 9-18 pounds.......that would make that fat cat of yours 4 pound over weight..... Thats a guide not a rule! I'd put them on a diet.............. Then you'd be underfeeding them. The BSH is a heavy boned Cat that weighs more than my Terriers, the brown one weighs almost 22lb! Their coats are over an inch thick and stand off the body, they are not smooth haired cats. None of them are overweight, not even an ounce, I wouldnt dream of keeping unfit animals. You are forgiven for thinking they maybe though, and I appreciate your apparent concern. Ok then.........i wont argue cause i dont know the type of cat. But they do look fat. Do these cats get out?

Its completely up to you to go to the vet but it will cost you 50 pound a bird to get an autopsy and i could guess that the results would come back as inconclusive with HEX, COXI and TRIKI because they never can get it right. Sounds like they have gapes too me which is easy spotted with the birds making a "sneezing" sort of sound and some of the worst affected will be standing still looking they are gasping. Over this period of bad weather every person who has birds in there pen should have an anti-biotic like Aueromycin or Tetsol to ease the birds over the worst of the weather. Expensive st
